BEDO'S LEATHERWORKS

I brought my small strap. I paid $40.00 and was told to wait for the message to pick the product in 5 days. Having no message received I called back week later, and then another week later,and then another week later. When I came to pick up my pocketbook I was not shown what work has been done and when asked to go over the work I was told just to take it. The owner showed utmost hostility and rudness during my visit telling me that I make him uncomfortable. I just asked to show me spot where work has been done. I do not recommend anyone to go to that place. Not only they are quite unprofessional, but also provide miserable service. Instead of 5 days I waited 21 day Expect no apologies!

Never again. I dropped off 3 luxury items in Dec and paid $885 in advance. Told the items would be ready in early Feb. They were weeks late. They damaged my LV wallet, made worse when the owner tried to fix it on the spot. The Prada repair was incomplete and of disappointing quality. They did not take responsibility for the damage done to my wallet or stand behind their work. If the work had been done right, it would have been worth every penny and the wait. Beware!! Take pictures of any items you drop off.

Excellent work and friendly service

As I said before the work was well done. The issue I have is I was told that it would take 2 weeks to repair, Before I left the store they said 3 weeks at the absolute latest. Well it was a month till I received the cushions back. What they promise for a time frame to get the item back is not accurate, Workmanship is very good,

Initially, I thought the price was a little high but after I saw the results I was very pleased. Not only did they repair the hole but fixed another potential hole in the jacket at no extra cost. My coat looks like new. The folks that run this small shop are experts with anything leather. The quality of their work and service was outstanding. They are real craftsmen. This shop is a hidden gem in the heart of Falls Church.

Bedo's Leatherworks put a new zipper on my 25 year old leather jacket. I was told replacing a zipper is a difficult job, which explains the $80 bill. Bedo did an excellent job and within the estimated 2-week period. My leather jacket feels like new. I highly recommend Bedo's Leatherworks.

Leather cleaning work was excellent but extremely slow service - 6 weeks!They said they would call when it was ready, but they didn't.Price was high but there are few choices for good leather cleaning.

Excellent job, on time and for amount estimated. Cost listed above is rough guess. Can't remember exact amount.

Last year, as a birthday present for my husband, I had taken his black leather jacket to Bedos and had them restore the jacket. Wear and tear over the years had made the finish look quite ragged and very uneven. The jacket wasn't even waterproof anymore. We did not know before then that leather can be restored. They gave me an estimate of the price and time it would take for its return. They were right on for both. Steve also showed me the proper way to care for the jacket when I picked it up. So I now take the jacket to Bedos for an annual cleaning and refinishing. They said it would take 4 weeks, but I got it back in 2. The price is still comparable to last time. The finish is gorgeous. We are very happy with them.

They did a nice job on the jacket; though it's not as black as it was originally, it's much better. They had warned me ahead of time that there was only so much they could do, based on the quality of the leather. They also finished the job two weeks before they had estimated they would, which was good, and promptly let me know that.

Bedo's re-dyed the faded black leather of the chair sling, repeating the dye application as many times a necessary at not additional charge. Then they conditioned the dried-out leather. It was rather expensive, but this piece has sentimental value and now it looks as good as new! They also did a great job repairing 4 pairs of shoes as part of this fee. I got to speak with the craftsman who was repairing my items. They do the work right on the premises. Bedo's provides excellent craftsmanship. I would definitely use Bedo's again for any leather repair or restoration.

The work went very well. Took items in on April 30. I was given a two week ready time (May 16). I was contacted before the ready date and informed that the leather jacket would not be ready because additional time was needed to make a proper repair. I was even offered consessions. It was well worth the wait!! BEDO's repairs on all items were excellent. The jacket looks new and the leather support for the hammock chair matches the opposite side perfectly.

This was an expensive coat made of very fine leather. Bedos did an excellent job removing the stains and restoring the leather. The 15 year old coat now looks brand new!

Great job. They cleaned it, removing the stain and restoring the area to near-original condition. When I brought the jacket in, they looked at it but didn't make any promises. However, the cleaned garment was beyond my expectations.

I had used them before to repair wheels on a suitcase. I did not know they did leather repair until I checked Angie's List. When I took the bag to them they said it had to hand done since the leather is to soft to put on a machine. They completed the work in about a week, a little longer than estimated.

I took a black jacket in to be cleaned. For the same price, the coat would also be repaired. I had worn those "hello, my name is" stickers on the jacket, and they had torn some of the color away. The jacket was returned to me looking like a new jacket -- better than I expected. I later brought in a leather purse that had some mold on it, but it had sentimental value. The owner told me that the purse was in very bad condition, and might not be possible to return it to it's original condition. He did give me a written estimate. I chose to not get the purse repaired.

The repair is hardly noticeable.

They were accurate in their estimate and finished the work within the time they said they would. The coat they repaired is my 90-year-old mother's coat. When they saw her get out the car and walk in the parking lot with her rolling walker, a staff person came into the parking lot, took her claim ticket and told her he would bring the coat to her. The transaction was handled quickly and with a great deal of compassion for an elderly client.

BEDO'S TURNED AROUND MY JACKET REPAIR ORDER RELATIVELY QUICKLY. THEY TOOK ABOUT TWO WEEKS FOR THE JOB. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

EXCELLENT AT REPAIRING AND CLEANING.
