BAKERSFIELD ORIENTAL RUG

We emailed them for a match and they came up with a match. They looked around and found it.

We purchased rugs from Bakersfield for our living room after having new wooden floors installed. We found them to have a wide variety of rugs at varying price points. They offered two types of carpet padding and cut it to fit the new rugs.  They carried the rugs to the car for us. 

During the purchase, the clerk was very courteous and informative, guiding us toward rugs that suited our needs. She then left us alone to shop and select the rugs of our choice. If we brought them home and were not satisfied, we could have brought them back and exchanged or gotten our money back.

Since we brought the rugs home we have loved them. We recommend purchasing the more expensive padding. It makes a big difference in the rug and in our comfort.

We bought 3 rugs from BakersField Oriental Rug. They have a great variety of rugs. They have 2 big rooms and everything is divided by size and they have people that flip the rugs because we were looking for a rather large rug and they flip the rugs for us instead of us trying to lift the heavy rugs and that was great. They have great help and they are very knowledgeable. I think BakersField Oriental Rug is the best place in Virginia to buy rugs from. You can take the rug home and if you don't like it, you can bring it back within 2 weeks and they would give you the refund or another rug. This was good in case you take the rug home and you don't like it or it does not fit, you can always return it. They also load the rug for you in the car and they are so helpful.

Very pleasant experience from start to finish. Older gentleman helped us. They have a huge selection of area rugs placed in piles according to size. Decided on a beautiful high quality rug right away, and he went in the back of store to find matching smaller rugs for us. Gave us tips on care, helped us choose the appropriate pad, and generally couldn't be nicer or more helpful. We were told that if we didn't like the rug(s) for any reason, return them within a week and we would get a refund. We are thrilled with the rugs. Only glitch was we went to the store in our Prius and couldn't fit the 10' x 14' rug in the car. Went back the next day with our van and they loaded the car for us. Price was excellent. Would go back for any other rugs in the future.

All in all a very good experience. I will purchase rugs from Bakersfield again and have sent several friends there for rug purchases.

Went to Bakerfield on the recommendation of several friends. As soon as we arrived a very polite and knowledgeable man approached us and offered to assist us. We were pretty much in the dark about what we were looking for, other than the sizes of rugs we wished to purchase, and the man who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. Bakersfield has a huge assortment of rugs of all types and sizes. They also sell and install wall-to-wall carpet. A caution about returns: 1 day for cash back and 4 days for exchange. Although we were assured that we could return the rug we purchased for refund, exchange or credit towards another purchase, he didn't mention that their policy (which we later saw posted near the register) is so limited.
