I had a disappointing experience with Ameritech Construction. They came out and installed 40 windows and 5 doors in my house. While the window installation went smoothly, the doors all had issues from the start. They didn't shut properly, parts would slide down, and the stoppers weren’t in place. While these issues didn't completely stop the doors from functioning, they were clear signs of poor installation. I contacted them, and they initially agreed to come back and fix the issues, but when they did, nothing was resolved. I called back, and they promised to send someone out again, but no one ever came. After numerous calls and months of follow-ups, they finally came out, then said it would take months to get the stuff then came back to only to tell me that the repairs weren’t covered under warranty. They claimed the installation issues would cost me a few thousand dollars to fix, even though the problems were clearly a result of their poor work. I've been trying to get these doors fixed since the initial installation, and they’ve done nothing but pass me off to different people and fail to honor their promises. Their warranty is meaningless, and they refuse to stand by their work. I do not recommend using Ameritech Construction due to their poor customer service and lack of accountability. Avoid the frustration—find another company that actually honors their warranty and takes pride in their work.

Sales rep used a heat lamp to show us. We have heat resistant windows. They took off all our window stickers and disposed of without permission So they made false replacements They damaged our home. Installation was good and service was good for a while. Now, we have a problem with the windows in one set of french doors and they will not honor the "lifetime warranty"!

We took several days off work for this project, so timeliness was very important for us. So when they told us they'd be at the job site at 8 AM and wouldn't show up until 2 in the afternoon, it made us feel that our time wasn't important.

Salesman for roof was Timmy Gayle. He was extremely knowledge and helpful. In spite of the fact that he was on Crutches he managed all 47 steps to see the attic inside and do all the measuring etc.

we are very satisfied. so much so that we are now hiring them to reconstruct our upper porch deck and flat roof and column bases.

Great! Charles Dilts did a great job installing the windows. Also, Marvin Gillman did a great job overlooking to make sure we were happy. We definitely will buy from Ameritech again. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

This company was high pressure and extremely over priced. They made several claims that were untrue and acted like I was an idiot when I didn't want to spend 1900 per window. As a salesman it was clear that the reason they pressured so hard to buy on the spot was because if I had shopped price there is no way I would of used them. I found lifetime Warrantee windows for 1/3 the price and just as efficient.

The quality of the work was excellent. The siding is high quality. The team arrived punctually every day and called when rain kept them from working. They completed the job in a few days and cleaned up beautifully. The soffits and other details were very well done. They cover all the messy cable and lines running into the house, I would definitely hire them again. It was a joy!

Great. Installers were very professional and did a great cleanup. The materials were best available. The sales/estimator ( Mr Gayle) wrote that was easy to follow and had plenty of samples.8

He did a wonderful job. Excellent work and friendly.

This is the 6th time we've gone to Ameritech for services. They do an amazing work. We are doing the siding as soon as the hoa approves it. Each time they were courteous, and always a very clean work area. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The installers were most professional. They arrived on time. The work was finished in short order and clean up was fast and complete. Both Dave and Kim were very polite and answered all questions respectfully and completely.

I did the work more than a year ago and when I did the analysis... I saved almost 40% on my energy bills! Everything went according to plan. Professional and efficient.

Did a great job. Took away the old door. Clean up there mess. Love my front door.

Although the work proceeded quickly, the crew was sloppy and broke a window, damaged some bushes, and left my attic a mess (they should have covered my things with plastic once they saw that all the debris was going straight into my attic). The company replaced the window without question, which was good. However, they also tried to charge me $720 to replace 80 feet of wood when it was obvious they only replaced 5 feet 4 inches. They also tried to charge me over $600 to remove double shingles first for the whole roof, then changed their story to only part of the roof. They were never able to demonstrate to my satisfaction that any double shingles were removed. Nor did they ever explain the gross discrepancy about the wood. If you do hire then, I strongly recommend very careful oversight and documentation of what they are doing, with regular photos.

We were happy with the window triple pane and gutter protection. Using them again at new house for more triple pane windows. Looking forward to saving lots of money on energy.

My favorite room in the house and I super happy with it. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We just now signed a contract for e-Shield Insulation.

In December 2014, Ameritech installed a beautiful wood deck on my townhouse. The project manager ensured that the project was completed on time and was exactly what I wanted. We love the deck and spend countless hours enjoying the extension to our home. I am now using Ameritech to install a new sliding glass patio door. The sales person, Timmy, was awesome! He was courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the product.

Work provided was outstanding and fast.

I have been in the service business for 44 years and understand the sensitive nature of services provided in and to family homes, Expectations are always high. Ameritech exceeded our every expectation in terms of the sales process, product quality and service delivery. So much so that after our initial window purchase we added a large sliding glass door to our deck. After watching the timely and precision installation of our windows and door, we decided to have the ample wood framing our our home wrapped in steel, The new windows and wrapped framing completed transformed the look of our colonial home, I am confident that the work substantially added value our home and will drastically cut our utility costs. 
One crew installed our windows and doors and another wrapped the wood, Every member of both crew was polite, clean, skilled and highly professional, It is rare not to have a single crew complaint, but we don't. They were outstanding. We felt like we had made new friends.
Timmy Glaye was the sales representative, he carefully answer every question in detail, His product demonstration was realistic, But most importantly was his honesty. Not one promise made was unfilled,  Quality window replacement is expensive, And the triple pane Ameritech window is superior to everything else we saw. Still Timmy worked with us on price and financing coming in  lower than some of the better know but lesser quality products.
As we requested additional products and services, we had to opportunity to talk with the Ameritech office management and staff. Again our expectation were surpassed.
My comments were unsolicited are the true feelings of a well satisfied customer that no other connection to Ameritech.

They really have great products and great service. 

I don't write reviews often, but I am so impressed!  We originally picked Ameritech over their competitors because of the price and the salesman.  If you've ever sat through one of these 60 minutes quotes for a front door, you know how painful they are.  We were upfront that we had done our research and just wanted a price (we didn't want to sit through the sales pitch).  He respected that and we appreciated him respecting our time.  So far, so good.  Then came the installation.  I'm not sure what I expected, but Levon blew all expectations away.  He was polite, professional, and took extreme care in taping plastic sheeting over our home to make sure no dust got inside while he was installing the door.  He spent a lot of time cleaning up after the install as well and I just couldn't be more pleased.  He also took the time to explain the warranty to me and encouraged me to call if I had any issues.  I'll definitely use them again!

TIMELINE:  My roof was 22 years old so I was on borrowed time when I spoke with Ameritech.  I didn't have any roofing issues at the time.   I spoke with Alisa on 1/22 on the phone and she answered all on my questions.  I made an appointment schedule for 1/25 for estimate on attic insulation and a new roof.   HOA forms were submitted on 2/2/16 for approval.  HOA approval was received on 2/9/16 (crazy fast), and new roof was installed on 2/19.  It's like it was meant to be!!!



I will start my experience off with a story because it shows an issue, shifting focus on Ameritech's side to take care of the customer and making sure the customer was satisfied along the way.



Our initial meeting started off poorly.  Timmy, an employee of Ameritech of 16 years, went up the attic ladder first and saw boards so when he took his 1st step in the attic he was expecting a board to be there.  To his surprise, there was not a board there and he left a hole in the ceiling.   Timmy was embarrassed and apologized profusely.  I understood it was an accident and told him that this was their challenge to earn my business.  Their challenge was to patch the ceiling the same day....it would show their ability to take care of emergencies, take care of the customer and to make a bad situation right and the customer happy.  I wanted a quick fix so I didn't have a huge hole in my ceiling having warm air escape through my ceiling during winter.  Timmy called in favors to Levon and the 10am hole was fixed by 2pm. Levon schedule a follow-up timeframe for another coat of joint compound when he finished.   Timmy did a follow-up phone to me later the same day to ensure Levon had arrived and scheduled a follow-up appointment and to make sure it was to my satisfaction.   Levon had made 2 additional follow-up appointments and painted the patched area on his last visit.  The ceiling misstep was a minor inconvenience but the professional attitude was extraordinary which I really appreciated! 



OVERALL:  The new roof took place on 2/19/16.   It looks great!   A couple of days later we had rain and I inspected the roof and no issues have been found.    Completely satisfied with this company and will use them again.   I didn't know anyone who was looking for a new roof at the time of my appointment but there have been many friends who I have recommended to them since.
