ALEXANDRIA APPLIANCE REPAIR

Work was fine, though I think expensive. Some of plastic area where the hose is attached was scratched up in the process. It had some prior damage, but was returned with more. When I complained, the owner said the damage was pre-existing and called me unreasonable. He suggested that I take the hose to a forensic lab, which would report the damage was already there. When I asked why I should take on that expense when he damaged the hose, he said I was more than unreasonable and suggested I needed mental health care. At that point, I admit that I was angry. When I said that I was insulted and I thought he needed to learn more about customer service, he suggested that I must be going through a hard time in my life and should get help. I have used this shop for repairs for 10-15 years. However, I previously dealt with the present manager's elderly father, a gentleman and craftsman of the old school. I regret that the son is not the same sort of person. I will never return to the shop.

Awful experience. I had previously had a good experience with a microwave repair and this started well, with them coming to pick up my items, the same day I called. They charged my credit card when they picked up the item, claiming that the work was started and wouldn't remove the charge. It has taken repeated calls, at 1 and 2 week intervals, to get my items looked at and returned. The mower was returned after 5 wks and I am still waiting for the tiller. Supposedly, will be ready after 7 weeks. There was one excuse after another, about why it was taking so long, to the point that they were very rude with me, not understanding why I needed my items back. I will never take an item to them again.

Terrible. The price quoted was only for parts which was not specified at the initial time of estimate. The men removed the oven from my house, had it gone for days, and charged an exorbitant amount for what was merely putting some paint on the scratch, which I learned later from another reputable repair company. The workers sent were extremely unprofessional and unfriendly, and one was downright scary looking. The neighbors stood outside my door until he left because they were worried about me. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company.

EXTREMELY PUNCTUAL. WHEN I CALLED TO VERIFY THE GUY WAS ON HIS WAY, THE PERSON WORKING AT THE STORE CALLED HIM TO VERIFY AND GOT HIS VOICEMAIL. HE CALLED ME BACK WITH THE REPAIRMAN'S CELL PHONE # AND TOLD ME TO CALL IT IN ONE MINUTE. THEY APPEARED TO BE VERY ON TOP OF THINGS AND ORGANIZED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE PRICE IS GOOD. THEY WILL LET YOU KNOW IF IT IS WORTH IT TO REPAIR THE PRODUCT. THEY ARE FAST AND RELIABLE. IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE FROM MCLEAN TO ALEXANDRIA.

THIS WAS THE SECOND CONTRACTOR THAT WE HAVE HIRED. THE FIRST ONE SIMPLY DIDN'T SHOW UP AFTER THE FIRST FEW DAYS. I DIDN'T HAVE THE INFORMATION FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE MY HUSBAND HAD HIRED THEM. I AM HAVING A MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE WITH THIS CONTRACTOR. THINGS GOING SMOOTHLY.

WE HAVE A REPAIR SERVICE COME OUT TO THE HOME TO DO REPAIRS TO VARIOUS APPLIANCES. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS FOR THE SAME WORK - THEY DO A GOOD JOB.
