Lazaro and his crews are nothing but AWESOME!!! Their price, scheduling, punctuation and hard working and detail finishing is way beyond my expectation!!! I highly recommend this company if you try to find a quality and honest company.

Lazaro and his team did a great job with our walkway project. They listened to what we wanted and designed an approach for the walkway that made sense. Lazaro was very involved in the project from the beginning to end but his team was also very capable. They found a creative use for a stone we wanted to preserve as part of the new walkway - using it as a replacement threshold elsewhere in the path. In the end, it looks great and we are pleased. Would definitely hire again.

I highly recommend Horizon Landscaping. They were extremely responsive and knowledgeable from the project design and quote all the way to completion. I made several changes in materials and design partway through and it was no issue for them. Their workmanship is excellent and their workers are courteous, which was important with neighbors being close to the worksite. They even came back at no cost after the project was completed when I requested some changes after a big storm. I plan on using them again if any new projects come up!

Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. They took all the bricks up and repaired the border and laid the bricks back down and the patio looks brand new. It truly looks professional now and the guys were a pleasant to work with.

This is the third time we've used Horizon Landscaping for masonry work, and they have done consistently excellent work for a fair price. We strongly recommend them.

I had a flagstone patio that was sinking and uneven due to subsidence. The company removed all the stones, rebuilt the base with a proper slope away from the house, and reinstalled the stones. The price was fair (I had some higher estimates and some lower) and the quality of work was excellent with a good attention to detail. I most appreciated that Lazaro offered a vision for a better patio. My original request was to just replace the stones the way they were, but he made recommendations on how to improve the patio (with the same amount of stones) that led to a much better final project.

Excellent job in tight circumstances requiring hand mixing. Cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Will use them again.

Horizon Landscaping Designs, LLC took my ideas and build my backyard chimney, added synthetic grass, low voltage down facing lights, flagstone base increasing the value of my home. He listened to my every detail making sure my wife and I was happy end the end. Very fair pricing. Truly a 5-Star Company that I would recommend to others.

Great experience. The previous reviews were spot-on. This business is all Lazaro - you deal with Lazaro from the beginning and Lazaro is there every day throughout the job. He is personable, patient, explains everything clearly, is prompt, responsive, reasonably priced, sensitive to budget, creative coming up with solutions for unique situations, and flexible on scheduling and on changes that may come up during the job. I could tell he was the one when I first met him; he measured everything and listened carefully to my concerns and suggestions. This is entirely unlike the other highly-rated Angie's List big business from which I requested an estimate, who sent a young marketing guy out who provided a fancy folder, did not really listen (just kept saying "yeah, we can do that, and we'll throw in some other things at no additional cost"), took no measurements and provided an outrageous quote. I've attached a before and after picture. My driveway pavers were spreading apart due to poor drainage due to tire pressure over time. In addition to reinforcing the substructure and sloping the driveway correctly away from the house, Lazaro came up with solutions including beautiful gravel side drains and reinforcing the previously spread-apart area with a concrete border hidden under the gravel. He also reset our fence post that had been rising due to the poor drainage and installed a downspout drain under the reset driveway with a pop-up drain on the other side instead of having the downspout pour directly onto the pavers, which also may have led to our previous problems. And he was creative in redistributing our oil-stained pavers in a random pattern so they wouldn't be as noticeable. Great job.

I was contacted immediately to schedule an estimate, and sent pictures of the job site. We agreed on the power wash estimate and plan to assess the work needed then for the brick work. Power washer arrived on schedule and did a great job. We scheduled the brick work for a couple weeks out and I was notified when they would arrive. On time, neat and professional work and cleanup of the job site after. Walkway looks great now (see pictures of before and after). I would definitely hire them again.

This is the second landscaping job that we have hired Lasaro at Horizon Landscaping Designs for. This time we had a ~15 ft long 3 ½ ft high stacked stone retaining wall with in built natural stone stairway put in to replace an older wooden retaining wall. Lasaro, as always, is responsive, professional, reasonably priced, and does a good quality job. Lasaro ensured that we were happy with the job, taking time to arrange a few selected stones, and took extra care to remove the old retaining wall and to minimize the impact on adjacent plants when putting in the new wall. Would hire him again.

I hired Lazaro and his team based on an interview and a price quote. I immediately sensed that I was dealing with an honest human being, and I was not disappointed. Lazaro did an absolutely excellent job and kept me informed of the progress throughout the job. Mr. Lazaro and his professional team is one in the Billion. Exceptionally professional and no nonsense people. Mr. Lazaro puts his entire zeal and zest in the project and goes above and beyond the call of duty and professionalism. I was traveling heavy during the project and used to get reports from him using Skype. Mr. Lazaro would not leave any stone unturned to make me satisfied and at times would wait for me with my backyard digged, open face to make sure that I see, visualize, and mark the spots by marking videos where the backyard has drain pipes buried etc. Mr. Lazaro is highly recommended and as such, I hired his services again for my other home where I had seen some issue with water retention. He, once again gave me an unbeatable price and made sure that he performs the work with super integrity, professionalism and honesty. I have recommended him to my other friends and they all are super happy with his services. I wish him best of luck and happy sailings in all his endeavors.

Larazo was my partner the whole way! He worked with me to help me balance my budget against a beautiful design. I needed the patio installed before Easter so that my guest would be able to enjoy it and he made sure it was ready and all set for my big day (I hosted 40 family members for Easter Sunday!). I can't say enough good things about his attention to detail and the personal pride he takes in a job well done. He charges a fair price for high quality work.

Lazaro and his crew did a great job on tge patio on a difficult slope. The patio looks amazing, the fence looks perfect and we love the finished product. They addressed any issue right away and the price was right. They even planted my flowers!

Wow am I glad I found Horizon Landscaping and Larazo here on Angie's List. I hired him based on other's review. I'm having him work on two different properties. He FAR exceeded my expectation for the landscaping work...Thank you, Larazo! I'm also having him put in a patio and do some more landscaping at another property. He is honest and priced competitively. While my budget can't afford everything I would like done, he is partnering with me to get me the best solutions for my dollars. Highly recommend!!

It did go very well. With some delays for special order materials and our vacation during the project, Lazaro handled it very well. He is very responsive, the team did a fantastic job, patio looks outstanding.

Horizon Landscaping was outstanding. We needed to have brick and concrete removed and replaced with regular pavers. Horizon also made some repair to the base of a brick wall. I am very pleased with the final result. It was easy to get a quote, an initial contract and schedule the work. The team was punctual and performed the work quickly without any challenges. Their pricing is very competitive and reasonable. I hope to work with them again!

Lazaro was the man we called on to finish someone's else's job. I only wish I had known him first. Lazaro and his helper were patient, understanding, punctual and most important- experienced in what the first guy did wrong and how to finish the job. I am already making plans to hire him again for phase 2 of our project. Lazaro is an honest professional, fairly priced and caring. We had a party to prepare for and Lazaro and his helper stayed past 9 p.m. (over 14 hour day) to make sure the patio was done on time. Thank you, Lazaro. In my book, you are the best and most reliable landscape and hardscape expert around. Don't bother calling anyone else. You're in great hands with Lazaro and his team.

Lazaro was punctual, a hard worker and responsive. I thought it was a little pricey, considering I used a coupon. My issue was communication. Being hard of hearing, it was challenging to work with him because of his broken English. This resulted to an odd discussion on leftover bricks because he took them instead of leaving them behind. I was expected to pay $150 for roughly 100 bricks. However, due to the abnormal brick size I needed, I apparently paid $150 for roughly 40 bricks. He ended up getting very defensive and I wanted nothing more than to end the transaction. I let him keep the leftover bricks and I would not use him again.
