Closing occurred in early February. In early April I called the Title agent inquiring about non receipt of the formal deed and title. Never received a response after a few more calls. I then called the home office and was advised several times that I'd have it by rhe end of the week. Over the next two months I received the same promise but no result. The Title agent herself never did personally respond. Yesterday on June 7 I finally received the paperwork. Also during the pre-closing process I discovered several obvious paperwork errors that should have been detected by Walker, fees charged to the wrong party and discounts not recognized, that indicated a lack of attention. When you engage someone for such an important purchase you expect their responsiveness and attention to detail. This was not the case with Walker Title.
