Wade's Auto Electric

They were able to take me in that same day and I didn't step out of my car to get it another day. They were very professional, told me exactly what was wrong and how much it would cost me before they do any of the work, so there were no surprises.

First of all, I have been taking my 1996 Ford Explorer to Wade's Auto Electric for about three years; my next door neighbor originally recommended them when I was having battery trouble. I now take my car to Wade's for all automotive issues. I can count on Ben Newsome, who has largely done the work on my car, to do a thorough inspection and outstanding job. I highly recommend them for anyone that's looking for a thorough and honest evaluation of your car trouble and the cost is also upfront and clearly discussed. If Wade's can't fix it, they will tell you as soon as the issue is identified, and will recommend other specialists that are just as reputable and dependable as they are; this happened to me recently when I thought I had a transmission issue (the Ford Dealer told me I needed a new transmission; Wade's did not think so but recommended me to Central Transmission, who told me that I did not need a new transmission. That was about a year ago and the car still drives fine.)

I recently gifted my sister a car inspection and repair when I happened to ride in her 1995 Toyoya Camry. I thought her car had a brake issue, and I wanted to be sure her car was road-worthy. I took the car to Wade's and explained my concerns to Ben. Ben did a thorough inspection of the brakes, which were not the issue. There was a spring that had become uncoupled and was causing a noise that sounded and felt like it was the brake pads grinding. Wade noticed the car could do with new shocks, but recommended we could wait until we really needed them. So refreshing to know I get a straight-up assessment from Ben when he evaluates my car or my family members' car! Ben also repaired a steering column fluid leak that my sister's car had apparently had for some time. According to my sister, the car runs beautifully now.

Step daughter purchased used 2006 Mazda last year. She was not aware that a previous owner of the car had replaced the original factory installed headlamps with aftermarket HID lamps. These lamps recently began to not function properly.  We decided to have these lamps replaced with standard lamps rather then attempt to have the off brand, aftermarket lamps repaired. Ben at Wade's was very professional and completed the job on time for the price quoted. I would not hesitate to use Wade's in the future.
