The customer service provided was excellent!! The move went exceptionally well. The crew that was assigned were professional, courteous, and performed an amazing job! I will definitely keep Vanguard Moving Express in mind when scheduling my next move and have already referred their services to a former neighbor.

Moving in state or out of state? Go with VanGuard Moving Express. Reggie and Fernando arrived early, had the foresight to bring a larger van though a smaller van would have been the way to go based our assessment of our belongings (which was *way* off), and worked efficiently and ceaselessly to load our belongings onto the van in VA and unload them in PA. They were *clearly* seasoned professionals and, having fed them and ensured that they remained hydrated throughout (please take care of your movers), made the move as seamless as an interstate move could possibly be. We, without hesitation, *highly* recommend VanGuard moving Express!

From customer service to actual movers this company was a cooperative partner and professional.

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! They will take their sweet time, moving as slowly as possible to charge as much as possible. They will damage all of your furniture and destroy your wood floors. And they will refuse to remove items from their truck until you pay them. Absolute WORST experience ever. Do yourself a favor and do not hire this company.

When you call they give you a low quote so you will hire them. They do not tell you about moving insurance when you book the move. When the movers come they tell you that you have to take their insurance. The sales person told the moving crew that we had 562 sq. Feet condo and a pickup from another location. It took 14 hrs. to move our 760 sq ft condo and 10 × 15 storage unit.

This company is great. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were extremely helpful throughout the process. They were on time, professional and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend them.

Reggie and his team were fantastic. It was our first time moving an entire house (had just done apartments or rented rooms before) and through COVID we had collected a lot of things. We also have a newborn, to add to the complication/stress. But Noreen was incredibly helpful in getting us set up, and Reggie and his team worked efficiently and carefully to get the job done. They brought the right size truck for a city move with our size house, the right team to get it done in a day, and they were fair in their pricing. I would definitely recommend them!

Overall great experience - packed, moved and unpacked all our things in one day which is totally unheard of for an out of state move!

20 plus DoD moves...our first as retirees was the best. Zero damage, zero loss. Professional throughout. Careful packing. Careful carries to protect home spaces. we strongly recommend VanGuard Moving Express.

Overall, they did a good job, but they scratched a few items in the move. They were easy to deal with and the crew knew what it was doing.

I have moved all over this country, with several different companies, and I can honestly say, that VanGuard has been the best company that I have ever moved with. From the very start of the â Move Planning Processâ in securing an estimate, all the way until our belongings were dropped off at our new location, moving with Bauer and VanGuard was a first-class experience. Bauer constantly was in communication regarding the details, price, dates, and any other nuance that arose. He responded to texts quickly, and made himself free for a phone conversation when needed. On top of that, the movers that assisted Bauer, were nothing but polite, professional, and extremely careful with our items. Lastly, the price that VanGuard guaranteed was spot on. Compared to what other moving companies wanted to charge, it wasnâ t even close. I am beyond thankful that we chose Bauer and VanGuard as our movers out of the DC area. Without a doubt, I would recommend working with him, and his crew. I truly could not ask for a better moving experience.

They were fantastic. I had a last-minute move on Christmas Eve, and they were able to accommodate me. Special accolades for Bauer for an amazing attitude - professional, friendly, and genuinely nice. They were careful but fast. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I hired them for help with some big ticket items in our 3 bedroom apartment and the job they did far exceeded my expectation. They made it to my apartment well before the schedule. They were meticulous and caring in how they load up items. They were fast, focused and very professional. I highly recommend this VanGuard for your next move.

Exceptional service provided by VanGuard Moving! The in person estimate and quote was right on the mark, no overages on cost or time. Bauer and the staff were great to answer all of my questions ahead of time to ensure all expectations were communicated and agreed upon for our move. They arrived right on time and got right to work! The crew was courteous and moved quickly and safely to move us from our condo to house. We couldn't have been more pleased - highly recommend! (Services provided in March 2019.)

From estimator to communications to pack up & delivery, Vanguard was exceptional!!! I received estimates from five companies. Vanguard was one of two that came to the house to actually do a visual estimate and the ONLY company not to have fine print regarding extra costs!!! In fact, Vanguard’s estimate was a ‘not to exceed’ estimate. In other words, I paid not a penny over the estimate!!!

This is the company you need to hire for any type of move. Bauer’s customer service is exceptional and all of their employees, including himself, are extremely hard working. I did extensive research to find this company and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. Do yourself a favor and hire them without any second thoughts...

I hired 3 movers from Virginia to PA. The service and price was excellent. It came out to be below my original quote, so I tipped the crew with the rest. All of my antique furniture and items were treated as if it were theirs. Nothing was damaged and the crew was extremely efficient and courteous. I would totally recommend to this company to anyone.
