Description of Work: I took a cross-stitch design to Total Framing that I wanted to have framed for my daughter. This was a piece that I had been working on, on and off, for years, and I wanted it to really look nice. The person who helped me knew right away how I felt and picked out frame samples that highlighted my piece. It didn't take long at all to arrange and I had my framed needlework back in two weeks--it was gorgeous! I was very please with the service and workmanship and my daughter was delighted with her present. I would definitely recommend Total Framing.

Description of Work: Total Framing double matted and framed (using my frame) a 25 X 21 inch print, double matted and framed a 10 X 12 inch print (using a 16 X 20 ready made frame), and cut a circular mat for me. All work was completed as specified and looks great. I was able to take advantage of a coupon for one of the framing jobs.

 + -1 moreI just had my bathroom remodeled and could not find a mirror that would be large enough and match my decor - i wanted a silver tinted wood frame. The mirror needed to bee custom fit so that it would look right in the space above the vanity. I went to Total Framing and Michael's. Even though Michael's was having what their associate said was one of the best sales they have all year Total Framing's price was actually lower and the selection of frames was better. I brought in the paint and tile colors and Total Framing helped me pick a frame and helped me determine the size of mirror that I would need based on the width or the frame and the size of my space. They offered the option of providing the mirror or allowing me to bring in a mirror. I am fairly handy so found a glass shop to cut the mirror for me - it saved me a little of the cost but Total Framing's mirror was not overly expensive. I brought the mirror in, they confirmed my order and less than two weeks later I had a terrific looking mirror that fit the space perfectly (mirror and frame was approximately 48 by 41 inches. They offered me two options for hanging hardware and provided great advicee. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Total Framing put a circa 1890s oval photo of granddad in a shadow box style frame. It looked much better than I was expecting. They also framed a drawing my dad made. Again, a great look. Now both can be displayed and will be protected against the elements.

 + -1 moreWhat a great experience! It could not have gone better from start to finish. I arrived with a print and the owner, Terri, assisted me in selecting a perfect frame! I had another frame in mind, but Terri suggested a much better frame for the print. As this was going to be a birthday gift, I asked if it could possibly be completed sooner than the promised date. She said the framers would do their best! AND THEY DID! I was able to present a beautifully crafted gift on time! I would not hesitate to recommend Total Framing! These are really nice people who truly take pride in an excellent product and sincere customer service! (Note that they have moved to a new location on Pickett Road, just around the corner from the old location!!)

 + -1 moreAs a result of my first visit to Total Framing and Carolyn I have reassessed the art work I have on my walls and realized with my new "eye" why I was not happy with the way the art was framed. I have taken several of those pieces to Carolyn to be "reframed."
Description of Work: I took a number of different artwork from my various travels that I had been collecting for years into Total Framing for matting/framing. I had never worked with Carolyn before but could see very quickly that she and I had the same "eye" in making decisions regarding the best way of framing each piece of artwork. It was an individual, not a "cookie-cutter," approach to each one. I was so pleased with the results that I have been back to Carolyn several times since the first visit, and she continues to use her great "eye" on each piece.
