He and his crew started a week late and finished a day sooner than planned. The quality was horrible. There were un-level areas, concrete over plastic, concrete splatter across the back side of the house, boot marks and bucket marks in the concrete, tape and trash left, beer cans in the trash. He changed the cost of the job AFTER it was completed. He said he'd come back to repair the work, but misse four appointments and showed up a day earlier than planned on another appointment. (I wasn't at home and he knew I wouldn't be.) He rarely returned calls after the work began. He lied about what he would do to remedy the workmanship. Mr. Allen Sowers of Sowers Concrete was reported to DPOR and an Informal Fact Finding conference was held. The Virginia State Board at DPOR found the contractor in violation. He was fined and required to go to state regulated classes to receive an education in the proper practice of contractors. Horrible experience!
Description of Work: The provider was hired to re-surface concrete to the front and rear of my home and around the pool.
