"The person working at the members house was not a sub-contractor.I was out of town on vacation and as soon as I heard there was a problem I contacted the mrs. and told her when I get back I will investigate the situation and complete the job.I did apologize repeatedly to her.The tile floor was mostly completed .We started back on the job one week after i got back in town not 3 weeks later , the project did take a couple of weeks to complete because the renter had to work and wanted to be present when we were in the home,we did not want to inconvenience them anymore than was necessary so we worked around her schedule. Also the job never included the replacement of the wall tiles or any sealing of grout ,as I told her that I do not believe in these products for grout sealing and I think it is a waste of money. If the wall tiles were included and it was not completed why on the final walk through when the job was completed ,everything was approved for payment by the tenant.I did candidly tell the member that I lost my shirt on her job but no matter what I will stay and complete the job 100%, which we did.As far as final payment ,i submitted the invoice and was told by her that because she took $200.00 off of the rent for the tenants she would expect me to reduce my bill by this amount, I did do as she asked to go the extra mile for her.I received one phone call from the mrs. possibly in early october in reference to a little bit of water in a corner of the said bathroom and that it is not leaking through and staining the ceiling and it could quite possibly be the kids while taking a shower not pulling the shower curtain closed all the way.,but when you get a chance can you call and stop by to investigate the source,at that moment I was driving and talking to her and did not write it down and did forget to do so for that I apologize,I never received one phone call or did I get a message from him. This was a result of a bad employee who is gone now,not a company which does not care for its clients."
