Shenandoah has the landscaping contract for my HOA so last year when we were looking to trim some trees, we decided to get a quote from them.  Their quote wasn't the cheapest, but I quickly realized that they actually knew what they were talking about vice some guys who just know how to take down trees.  They trimmed our trees and in the process one of the limbs damaged a downspout.  We noticed it the next day and contacted Larry Wiltshire who had a professional out there within a week, no questions asked, to replace the entire downspout.  So we knew they were who we wanted to use this summer for some major landscaping work.  We never even got other quotes.  We'll use them again in a year or two when we save up enough to do the other retaining wall.

We have a large oak tree that was busting out of its retaining "box."  Shenandoah enlarged and replaced it with pressure-treated 6x6 (?).  It should last about 30 years.  They moved a retaining wall in the back and added another one.  They also mulched and cleaned up the back yard.

The original work date was above 100 degrees so Larry said they'd have to postpone, which was no problem.  As it turned out, however, the second day of their new work schedule was also above 100 degrees.  His guys were out there working very hard to get it done, and they did.
