Sensational Spaces

All in all, the entire task took three days. The owner had told me that they were "very hard workers," and certainly that was true. They charge by the hour and I never had a sense of wasted effort or time. Their work was a very fluid and and efficient combination of packing, organizing, and staging. In staging they magically transformed empty rooms into spaces that appeared to be full and lived in. I think the most amazing thing they did was to completely re-organize and de-clutter the chaotic mess that was my basement woodworking workshop. In answer to the question would I use them again, I certainly would, and plan to engage their space-planning services once I move into my new home.

I was struggling with how to use the space in my house efficiently.  I have a smaller home and never figured out how to make it work and was absolutely overwhelmed.  Bottom line was I had too much stuff for the space but didn't know how or where to start de-cluttering.  I needed help and some outside perspective.  Eileen at Sensational Spaces was incredibly great to work with as we tackled getting this house in order.  She is professional, very knowledgeable and very easy to work with.  I needed some guidance and needed some hands-on help.  I was also looking for someone to be accountable to as I also worked on some projects on my own.  And, I really needed some encouragement along the way.  Eileen had great ideas.  She helped me sort through clothes, establish a filing system (tickler file) as well as home files, figure out a better use of space in our 1st floor living area, and deal with various "hot-spots" around the house. She has great space-saving tips.  Eileen kept things simple and straightforward.  And, she never criticized or judged me.  She was encouraging and supportive throughout the process.  After living in a de-cluttered and more organized space for a few months now, it's great to have places for everything and to know where everything is!  The money I spent at Sensational Spaces was one of the best investments I've ever made.  I couldn't be happier with the outcome.  It was a pleasure working with Eileen.
