I think I have a very explicit type haircut compared to what I've had in the past. Angelina cut my hair and she had around her waist about 6 or so pairs of scissors which she used intermittently. She did some different things. I have very fine hair and I put that on rollers. She had these little brushes that we used to call cat tail brushes. It's a brush that has a very long slim handle and then on the end it has a brush about an inch high, and it was for teasing. She didn't have that type of brush on it but what was on the end of hers was a brush that was circular-like similar to the brushes they use for blow drying, but it was really tiny. The whole thing was only about an inch thick. She put those in my hair in the back and she used the blow dryer on them, and it came out as though they had been in rollers. It was really nice. The cut was extremely explicit. I can comb it out and I can shake my head, and it's even all the way around. That is a very nice shop. I am going back. I think for what she did for me, the price was good. Generally a haircut costs between $55 and $60, and I think in as much as my hair had not been cut for 7 weeks, and it was really in disarray as far as the last cut I had received, I think she put a lot of effort into it. Probably the next time I go, it wouldn't be that much, but I don't care if it is. They were very nice. The minute I walked in, they took me. I had looked at the 3 that were on Angie's List and I just decided to choose the one that was closest to my house, and I was very pleased.

They’re relatively cheap but they know how to give me a really great haircut.  It’s not like a cheap place but the prices are a little bit lower.  When people go in, they don’t feel like they’ve gone to a cheap place.  I think it’s relatively cheaper than the other places in the area.  I really do like them.

We have gone there for the last 3 years. We've lived in Virginia for 6 years and it took us 3 years to find her, and we've also continued to go back to her as much as we can. We like the salon. She's perfect. She is not inexpensive but she's worth every penny. She is really, really good. The hairstylist's name is Min, and she is absolutely the best! She is extremely good at cutting, coloring, and everything. We go back there to see her. We have a home for sale and it hasn't sold yet so we go back to check it and we always get an appointment with her when we go. When we sell our house we probably might be tempted to still go back to use her because I don't think there is anybody as good as she is. I definitely recommend her. She is worth it. I do highlights and lowlights and people are amazed that I get my hair colored because she makes it look natural. She is really, really good.

My 79 year old mother is new to the Fairfax area and did not have a good experience at a previous salon in our area, so I decided to check out Angie's list and came upon Salon Mint. My mom has fybromyalgia and also arthritis in her neck, so I was hoping that the person doing her hair would be patient and understanding. The woman that worked on mom was named Chamey, and right from the beginning she was so friendly and understanding. The receptionist had already given the information about mom to Chemy, so she was familiar with her situation. Mom said she was wonderful through the whole process and just loved the way her hair turned out.

They will work with me to schedule when it is convenient for me. I can basically tell my stylist to do what she likes to do and she always does a good job. They are very imaginative and inventive and I've never had a bad experience with them.
