We had a good experience with them. They were wonderful and we would recommend them to anybody. They were wonderful. They understood and did everything we asked. Their price was a little bit higher than 2 other companies but we didn't care about the price because they were willing to go the extra mile to care about my health. We also thought their quality was a little bit better. They did what we wanted. They will come in September to do the rest of the house because my breathing will be a little more than.

It was very good and very positive. They're very fine and very fair to deal with. Their installers did a great job and it's probably the cleanest installers we've had. It was worth it.

We got them through Home Depot. I would recommend them. They were excellent.

We were able to divide the project into 2 years which made financing much easier. They afforded us all the discounts, to include a military discount, they had going at the time which also extended into the second year of work. It was obvious all the workers have extensive experience. There were a couple of hiccups along the way as we were having special custom doors and windows done but all issues were resolved on the spot to our satisfaction. The windows and doors are wonderful. Very energy efficient and guard against sunlight damage to our furnishings, plus easy to clean. Our electric bill has gone down significantly. Highly recommend without hesitation!

Everything went smoothly, on schedule and as promised

It went very well from the salesmen who came to our home, the gentlemen that came to measure the windows to the two men that installed the windows. They worked continually without a break until all the work was done.

We had someone come out for an estimate to replace windows & doors for our home. Salesman was very nice and talked up his product like a pro. At the end he had me sign a paper and I thought it was to lock in the price and to just say he had been out and this is the deal we discussed. He said the price would be good through the weekend. The estimate was way out of our price range so we never called. Today my husband got a call to schedule an appointment to get the engineer out for more precise measurements. My husband told him we were not using their company. The rep from Renewal said I signed a contract. This was NOT made clear at our estimate!! For that alone I would not recommend this company!

The single workman they sent had it done in one day despite working in the snow. So glad we went for the wood clad interiors.

The installation was quick and efficient (all 20 windows and the two sliding glass doors in the first day.) The workers were conscientious about cleaning up inside and outside throughout the installation and ensuring that I had a place to continue working during the installation, since I work from home. Given that the installation was at the end of January, the weather turned cold quickly on the first installation day, so that speed was appreciated. Two of the big selling points that offset the higher sale price were the Fibrex window technology (energy efficient glass, durability, can handle changes in temperature well over time, resale value) and the professional installers with over 20 years experience - those areas did not disappoint. The windows drain well during rain due to the slope, and the fine mesh screens are not visible when dry, but they do hold water and obscure the view when it rains. Looking forward to the fine mesh keeping all bugs out of the house this summer! When installing windows, the homeowner needs to know how replacement windows are different. If the windows are installed inside the window frame, rather than on the outside of the house, they will take up space that may have been used by the window treatments. That was not made clear, although there was a contract statement (fine print, of course) that indicated previous window treatments may not fit. The most expensive window treatments did not fit and required valences and replacement (about $2400) that was not planned for. If it was made clear during the sales presentation, it would have been a non-issue, but it was glossed over. The token offer of a $100 prepaid Visa card was appreciated, but the impression was changed. We had two windows that had small drafts, and my request for follow up was quickly scheduled and windows adjusted.

The Andersen designer helped us pick out the style windows, quality of glass, and insert panes we wanted, along with exterior window and door casement trim. Over two consecutive days the workers replaced ALL 19 exterior windows (3 within a new Andersen overhanging bay frame), two exterior doors (one a sliding door, the other a hinged door. Work was performed during a cold and windy time frame. The workers performed the work on one side of our home at a time so no significant heat loss occurred during the entire period. Crew was very professional throughout windows, doors, and trimwork installation and removed ALL the old materials. We now have a MUCH more energy efficient home AND extremely QUIET home from outside noise (we live near Dulles Airport). Would I recommend them? Absolutely!

All aspects were executed perfectly

I was very impressed by the salesman. He helped me find financing and lets me know when they are having specials to save me money. They are prompt, they clean up and do a good job. They forgot something for one of the windows. He came back the next day on his own time and finished that window. They are holding other windows for another project I'm doing. Very accommodating.

The process from start to finish was flawless. My French doors were installed on time and looks great!

The installation was completed in a single day, everything they had ordered fit perfectly. The installers were very professional, efficient and left everything as clean as they found it. We have not any problems at all with either their product or the installation. Overall we're very satisfied with our choice of Renewel by Andersen.

I would really rate this company an A-. I ordered their top-of-the line replacement windows and love them. Yes, they were expensive. Yes, they are worth the price. My utility bills dropped dramatically. The house is very tight now and draft-free. Windows open and close easily and are easy to clean. The good and bad news: Two windows were not installed properly and have been a problem for ten years. (I did the windows in two shifts because of expense.) The two problem windows, done ten years ago, have required at least a dozen service calls and replacement parts. They never got them repaired properly until this year when they finally started from scratch and replaced the windows with brand new ones. There was never a question about the warranty. It was a nuisance but a minor one. In a job this big, I consider this par for the course. I would do the same thing again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this company.

All went well. On time; w/in budget. Courteous workers. All mess cleaned up. We love our windows.

Renewal by Andersen replaced all of our windows. The job was done efficiently and professionally. We were pleased with the quality of the finished product. The cost was similar to competing brands.

Our church had used Renewal by Anderson a couple of years ago and was very pleased with their windows and their workmanship. When we decided to replace our church sanctuary windows, they were one of the four companies we got bids from. While not the lowest price, we went with them based on their past work at our church and on recommendations from several of the members on the committee. They met all of their projected time frames - initial meeting for measuring - delivery time and installation date. Work was completed in a day. Their cleanup of the church inside and out was completed at the end of the day as promised. We are very satisfied with the windows. Not only the advantages we are seeing in our heating bill, but the noise reduction inside of the church from the passing cars on the street. (Unable to change the location of where the work was actually completed at)

We had them price 11 replacement windows. We liked their product very much but at the end of the day sadly, they were out of our price range.

Anderson Renewal was very responsive to my request and sent Mike to give me an estimated cost. He was very through and not only checked inside but went outside to survey the job. He went over my requirements and helped me pick out what I needed. The costs were a little high but I believe in the quality and backing of the company to stand behind their products. There were a few small changes in my order which he quickly made. He had given me a early to mid December installation date but Renewal was able to get my an appointment date of 11/19 for the doors and 11/27 for the windows - I appreciate Michelle's [installation coordinator] ability to get me set up so soon - I also appreciate Mike's not giving me an unrealistic date which they could not have made, getting it sooner was great. Dale came out 11/19 and installed the entry door and the 2 storm/screen doors. The home is 67 years old but he was able to make adjustments to fit them in. One storm door was combined with the new entry door, the other was put with a door on an addition built in 1968. I am very pleased with all my doors. My entry has a keypad deadbolt lock which I have used a number of times. Mark and Justin came out 12/3 [the 11/27 date was cancelled because of storms in the area], but Renewal kept me informed and was able to quickly reschedule the appointment - the 12/3's weather was much better. The 5 windows were replaced in the 1968 addition. They set up and put in all 5 windows in a timely manner. They left the place cleaned up and gave me instructions about how to use them. There was a definite smell from the installation and I was told that I shouldn't use the windows for 72 hours for the caulking, etc to set. Luckily I was able to close off the rooms from the rest of the house and since the weather wasn't bad I used my new storm/screen door [with the screen down] and a couple of fans to blow out the smell for a number of hours for the next couple of days. The smell is gone now. All the workers were professional, pleasant and on time for their appointments. I appreciate that they answered questions that I had and performed the work well. The areas they worked in were cleaned up before they left. I was very satisfied with them. My front door storm door started to not close properly. I called and they sent Kerry out to check it out. He found that the bricks around the door were bowed so that the door frame wasn't exactly flush. He did tighten some screws and adjusted the strike plate and it closes much better. All my interactions with their employees like Michelle who coordinated everything, has been pleasant and professional.

This is the second time this company has been absent to the meeting. First time, they blamed a newbie for scheduling a meeting with someone within two weeks before closing on the home, which I was on my way to the house before they call. Tonight, they call ten minutes after the appointment to tell me the rep is running ONE HOUR and TWENTY MINUTES LATE. He was very apologetic but I do not give anyone the third time opportunity. Use someone else. The response should show you why to use someone else. To tell a customer they are erroneous despite three other companies put the pricing at that number and higher. Two of those companies met me that week before I closed on the home. As for two mistakes , it was since they set the first appointment and I rescheduled it a week before the appointment then to call right before the appointment of with the excuse of a newbie made a mistake. In fairness, see their response for the arrogance it conveys to a dissatisfied potential customer.
