The consultant (Jeremy I think) was excellent. he was on time, professional, and engaging. He was able to tell within seconds that what we were looking for was not something the company did any more, but took the time to walk me through what we needed, how it should/could be done, and was even able to recommended alternative resources. outstanding customer service and will absolutely consider Andersen for future doors and windows.

Terrible. I was given an initial price of $14,000.00. For a hinged 6x8 patio door. Very unfair pricing. Ridicules amount of money for a door. I would not use this company based on their extreme high prices.

Renewal by Andersen does a great job selling you their goods but are absolutely horrendous at customer service after they have collected their money. It has been over a year since my windows were installed and I have been unable to get anyone to come back to fix the few defects. In fact I cannot get anyone to answer the phone or call me back or email me back at all after dozens and dozens of attempts.

I highly recommend contacting Ed Richardson at [email protected] . He spent half a day taking measurements & making sure I knew what my options were. The installation team worked like clockwork together, with attention to every detail they really took pride in their work. This is an old house so replacement windows was not going to be easy. Everyone we dealt with through the process was not only very professional, but also showed concern for us & ensuring this old house will keep us warm for many more Blue Ridge winters. I love our new windows & I really love the new gliding door to the deck.

The installers left black scuff marks on the floor in the basement. Since the installation, water has entered the house around three windows at different times. The glazing has been fine and the windows open and close smoothly, but around the windows where there is caulking, water has come in. It took several attempts by phone and email to get anyone with Andersen to respond. Andersen did re-caulk one window, but they told me the warranty for the caulking has passed.

Needed to replace two windows in my bedroom and be compliant with my HOA , Todd Stevens came to my home, this guy is extremely knowledgeable regarding any and all aspects of window replacement. This guy couldn't have been more helpful, truly if more contractors acted like him the industry wouldn't need a website like this to make them honest! I will say they are pricey but the quality and professionalism is worth it. Todd went above and beyond what normal contractors would do, i highly recommend this company and highly advise you ask for Todd Stevens!

Professional work crew did an excellent job. Windows look beautiful and we are extremely pleased. We did lots of research on types of windows b/c we needed wooden windows inside. We decided on the Anderson b/c we put them in one room last year and were extremely happy with how they turned out. The company has been responsive and the salesman even thought to have wooden inlay on the screen for my kitchen casement window so that the interior would be perfect. Little details go a long way. The cost of brass hardware did increase the overall cost but it matches our period home. Overall, we were very pleased with the entire process.

The representative is very experienced and knowledgeable. We feel we get the best value from the work and things we order.

Excellent - great customer service, prompt and professional

I had to replace my 23 year old wooden windows due to wood rot. The only the negative thing is that the windows are so expensive. So far, they've been great at keeping out heat in the summer, cold in the winter and rain anytime. Very easy to open and clean.

Crew that came called when they were in route and arrived right on schedule. They were very professional and made every effort not to track dirt and debris in to the house by laying down drop cloth anywhere they were going to be. After everything was installed one of the crew showed how to remove the windows for easy cleaning and reinstall them as well as where to find any related information for them.

The workmen were clean, professional and efficient. They did the work quickly and effectively. I was very pleased.

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance to coincide with our only day of availability. We received numerous confirmation phone calls, originally with the incorrect date. We received more confirmation calls the week of the appt. Setting up the appointment was easy, and the woman I spoke to originally was very helpful. But since that we got a different person every time we called, and every time we got a confirmation call it was from a different person. On the day of the appointment, a little after the scheduled time, my husband called the last number that had called him and was told that they had canceled the appointment. The person my husband spoke to claimed he had sent a text message about canceling but neither one of us got a text from anyone. They gave no reason for canceling. He said he could come out the next morning but my husband explained that he would no longer be in town. (I had explicitly told them the 2 days he would be in town when I scheduled the appointment.) The man on the phone went on to say that he might as well give us a price over the phone since it doesn't matter anyway, and quoted a price of $1,800 without even having seen the door that needs replacement and without any measurements. A very disappointing experience to say the least. I cannot recommend using them.

We scheduled an appointment Renewal by Andersen for a Saturday morning about two weeks in advance. It took about 10 minutes to schedule the appointment because they went through all their policies and procedures, including insisting that both homeowners be present for the meeting and blocking off 1.5 hours just in case it would take that long. Then, two days before our appointment, they sent two texts saying "Please call us right away," because we have a question about your appointment. I have rarely gotten texts of such urgency and was wondering what the situation could be. The urgent question was apparently just to reconfirm the meeting, and they reviewed the same policies and procedures about both homeowners being present and ensuring that we blocked 1.5 hours on our Saturday. We both are very busy with our jobs and really didn't have time for all of this follow up. One hour before our scheduled appointment, the technician called to cancel without explanation.

The work done was exceptional. The workers arrived on time, were very courteous, and kept the work areas clean during the installation.
