The company remodelling our kitchen contracted Quick Fix for our plumbing relocation and new gas line. Wow, were we impressed with their work and professionalism. Jerry and his partner were at our house all day running a new gas line across the home and did as little damage to the drywall as possible to fish the line across. They also replaced the majority of our main vent stack that was broken in two with new piping. Again, they did minimal damage to the bedroom walls above the kitchen when completing the connection. They did not plan on opening up the bedroom walls but went above and beyond to complete this portion of the job properly. The bulk of the work was relocating our main drain and supply lines from our upstairs bathroom as close to the exterior wall as possible in order to remove a bulkhead that soaked up a lot of potential cabinet space in our kitchen. A large portion of our kitchen design was based on the assumption that this was possible. At first glance, it appeared that the pipes could not be moved, but Jerry figured out a way to do it and did a beautiful job. What was most impressive was the attention to detail, their friendliness, and willingness to answer questions. It was clear that they cared about doing the job right and leaving our home in a working and clean condition. We will definitely be calling upon this company for all of our future plumbing needs.
One note about the estimated cost. The quote is likely inflated from what Quick Fix would have charged us since our kitchen remodeling company likely added overhead.

We lost water pressure late Thursday night and called the Town of Leesburg water folks out to see if something was wrong on their end. There wasn't and the guy said it was probably our pressure regulator valve (PRV). I needed to get the problem solved ASAP, so I Google'd for plumbers and got some quotes. Knowing that finding a good plumber I could trust was more important than finding a good dentist, I signed up for Angie's List and started getting quotes from their top plumbers in our area. Seemed pricey compared to Quick-Fix who was not registered on Angie's List, but Quick-Fix checked out, so I gave them the job. I was VERY happy with their promptness, thoroughness, cleanliness, professionalism and very human courtesy. They were also willing to take a little time to look at a few other things I had been wondering about. I will call them next time I have plumbing needs (or other residential issues) and would encourage anyone in Northern Virginia to do the same. Did I mention they were also the cheapest? They are a second generation family run business with only four trucks/vans--but have the experience and quality you would expect from a larger operation.
