I think I used them four times this winter and I give them A's in every category. They are the best.

They were extremely friendly and came super quick when I called. The guys who came were nice and seemed to zip right about the yard. I've never paid anyone to cut my lawn before and after getting a few more quotes, they came in a bit higher.

They did a great job.  They were very professional and responsive, and very thorough in evaluating what needed to be done.  They were very knowledgeable and made good suggestions on getting the job done.  We also use them for snow removal, and they do a great job at that as well (though it can be fairly expensive for lighter snowfalls).

Did a terrific job, on time, as promised, without any issues or hassles.  (What more can you ask for?)

Blake at Paragon Ridge LLC did a fantastic job! His was a dream team from start to finish - courteous, prompt, punctual, efficient, reliable, creative, and thoughtful.  They are truly, the best of professionals!
As you can see from our To-Do list above, there was quite a bit. It was imperative that we remedy the flooding at the front walkway to the house asap, restore the driveway originally paved with gravel dust, much of which had eroded away, or sunk into deep grooves where the runoff gathered strength.  There was also a huge pile of brambles and branches in the backyard, along with lots of general landscaping work, including tree removal/planting, stumps grinding, branch trimming, mulching, and general sprucing up. 
We had contacted several landscaping companies previously.  At best, prospective contractors kindly provided us with detailed proposals which we passed, because they were over budget and would have negatively altered the appearance of the front entrance.  At worst, our calls went unanswered, or appointments missed.  To add to the frustration, we are absentee landlord, having bought our dream home, yet unable to move in right away, so had to rent it out for the time being.  Not being there to manage the project ourselves was a source of headaches.  We were weary about hiring  someone sight unseen to do so much work, from a long distance away.
We found Blake and his company on Angie's List.  He replied to our email enquiry straight away, on a Saturday no less.  We hoped that he could make a site visit asap, and he honored our request the same day in the afternoon, very much to our delight. Since we were not on site, the clarity of communication was absolutely crucial to the success of our project.  Blake was extremely responsive.  We communicated via email 95% of the time.  He sent us detailed proposals.  We replied with questions, and Blake came back promptly with detailed explanations, documentary photos, and even drew diagrams to help us understand the work involved. 
Because of the large scope of our project, the work was phased out in four stages. Blake coordinated the timing with our tenant, and organized his crew and suppliers to complete the work over two weekends.  Even though some of his workers had to take time off unexpectedly, Blake was unfazed and finished everything on time, beautifully! I cannot thank him enough for getting to know our site so well, and to take the initiative to think creatively in order to come up with an even better drainage solution to the front walkway.  Instead of elevating the walkway, which would alter the entrance experience to the house, Blake and his drainage specialist found that they could regrade the walkway to a gentle slope toward a new channel drain, then connect a drainpipe to it, routing it to "daylight", all for pretty much the same price.  As it turned out, the idea worked great!  Blake sent us dozens of progress photos, even a video to illustrate how the landscaping was shaping up.  We almost felt like we were right there.
Blake was our Hero and Angel.  He and Paragon Ridge were just amazing!  It was a joy to work with them, and I wish everyone looking for a landscaper could have such a wonderful experience as we had. I recommend Blake and his firm wholeheartedly!

If you need any trees trimmed/removed or any yard work done, you don't need to get any other quotes. Paragon Ridge is the best you'll find. Excellent work at a very competitive price. No, I'm not affiliated with them. I'm just a very happy customer that is somewhat of a perfectionist and has never given a 5 star review. We had them take down a few small trees, trim up limbs, remove a ton of brush and an old chain link fence. We've had a lot of interaction with various contractors over the past year, and this is the first experience I don't have a single negative thing to say. Blake quickly came by to look at the yard to assess what we wanted done. We received a quote that afternoon. He was quick to respond to my questions via email and was willing to work with me on finding a day the work could be done. They arrived when they said they would and worked hard all day. The work went smoothly and the outcome exceeded by expectations. They made sure none of the remaining trees were damaged  during the work.  After removal, the  tree stumps were all ground down and soil raked/smoothed out. Blake even came through with a blower after the work was complete to clear the yard. It really was the best contractor experience I've had and I'd highly recommend them for any work.

Excellent! The communication from start and throughout with Paragon went smoothly and very well. Our yard has been maintained since we bought the home, but we never could find a company that wanted to go the extra mile so to speak, by listening to our concerns, addressing them politely , offering valid suggestions and expertise, and then doing exactly what was arranged, all with such positive attitudes, Paragon was the right choice. I stayed home that day to be here personally and see how things were looking; and in case there were questions,etc.- while it is a bit of effort, the end result is having the job done exactly like we wanted.I also learned about my yard and landscaping issues, and about mulch. I had poor quality mulch applied two prior times and I wanted to be sure I selected the right quality, color, and type for my lawn/shrub. The guys are knowledgable and patient about all requests . After the day was ending, we discussed the front area where the new shrubs had been planted and I commented about watering. It is something I have difficulty doing....the owners offered to buy the material for what was needed and even came by to install it soon. This was such a wonderful touch and shows how much they do care about not just making income , but about people, or this is how I feel. I hired them for my lawn upkeep as well, to do the mowing and maintenance and that begins this week. I feel sure this will go well and my husband and I hope this will be a long term service. I am so grateful I chose Paragon Ridge and they chose to work with us! After we have had more work done, I will gladly update - They are very fair with pricing and do not take short cuts I forgot to mention....They use good material and enough to do the job right.

Reliable, fairly priced, punctual.  Emailed pictures of completed work. A particular pleasure to deal with for an out of town owner.

I spent about $1300 on that service. I liked that when they were left along; they seemed to do the work and did it quickly. They were clear on the estimate and did what they were supposed to do.

Snow removal. Done thoroughly, reasonably, fair price. Used snow blower as opposed to plow truck to meet driveway constraints. Did what was best for client, not company's convenience.

They did an excellent job and I would definitely use them again.

2012:  2 years now that we have had the privilege of working with Blake and Brandon.  We couldn't have had better help to take care of our home while we are away.  They are extremely reliable, hard-working, efficient, responsive, responsible, honest and pleasant to deal with.   And I am certainly not the easiest to please and  like to work with the best, intelligent and sensible people and yes, they are all that. I could give several examples of how they have helped us during these 2 years and how much they have simplified our life when we needed help at the property while we were away.  Bottom line: They are above the best you can find.
2010:
Going the extra-mile, knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy, never miss a commitment and clean presentation. These are the qualities I've seen thus far in Paragon. They do an excellent job for us and we will work with them on a yearly basis.

They responded quickly. Gave me an estimate over the phone. When the job was completed they sent me pictures (because I wasn't home at the time they were working) via email and made sure I was pleased with their job before they billed me. I really appreciated their patience.

Even though I underestimated the amount of mulch necessary, PRC Landscaping came back and finished the installation without a complaint with the correct amount of mulch.
