Normen's Air Duct Services

Normen showed up on time, got right to work and didn't stop until he was satisfied that he'd fully cleaned our dryer's ductwork. He took his shoes off every time he re-entered our home, wore a dust mask and was just as friendly and as professional as a homeowner could hope for. Our old dryer now dries our laundry like it did when it was new. You cannot find better than Normen's.

We recently moved into our townhome and decided to have our dryer vent cleaned. The dryer is on the second floor, about 20 feet from the exterior -- not a DYI job! We contacted Normen's Air Duct Services and were able to schedule an appointment that week. Norman and his helper showed up on time and immediately got to work. Clearly the duct had not been cleaned in many years but Norman was able to quickly clear out the clogged duct. They replaced a broken vent flap and cleaned up all the dryer dust at a reasonable price. We were shocked at the lint build up and consider ourselves lucky that we didn't have a lint fire. Our dryer is working better than it ever has. We highly recommend Normen's Air Duct Services.

Had to wait a couple of months to get an appointment but worthwhile. Normen was thorough, first looking at all of the vents and the HVAC unit and then explaining what he would do. He took a look at the dryer vent, saw it had recently been replaced, and said there was no need to clean it. Excellent job, Normen and his assistant had masks at all times. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Miguel came to clean the vents/ducts. He showed up on time and worked very diligently and meticuously for a few hours. In the past, I have felt like I was constantly being upsold on more services and products. I did not feel that way with this company. My house smells super fresh and I feel like I have a head start on spring cleaning projects and I will not have to dust every day like before. Trust me this company is worth every penny.

Great job! Normen arrived early. He and his helper removed their shoes upon entering the house. They were polite, professional, and friendly as they walked through the house to note where all the vents were. He explained what he would do and how and got right to work. They left my house spotless and charged a more than fair price. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Normen knew right away it was a clogged vent. Our vent goes up through the attic to the roof. From the attic, he and his assistant removed the clog and a screen (and explained the hazard of having screens). Then he quickly surveyed the roof ducts in the neighborhood and identified others that likely have the same issue. Can't recommend Normen enough!

Do not hire anyone else. Norman was wonderful. So professional and nice, and he didn't even charge me for installing a new dryer duct cap because he was a few minutes late! I asked him if he painted or performed any other household services because he was so awesome, I would hire him for anything!

They were fantastic, professional, patient, and does the work himself even though he have someone with him. Do not oversell. Price is reasonable. He seems genuinely care about his work.

Normen and Sergei were prompt, professional, thorough, and considerate. I appreciated that they pointed out things for us to do and to look for in the future. Reasonable price and great service--can't ask for much more than that!

Normen and his assistant did a great job. Showed before and after pictures of the vents. Normen even replaced the outside dryer vent hood which needed replacing without any charge. This is what I call excellent customer service. Honesty and integrity is what was delivered. I will be recommending his services to my friends and family.

Excellent service -- above and beyond! The air ducts hadn't been cleaned in years -- he did a very thorough job. I also had a lot of questions about where various air ducts, bathroom and stove vents were flowing through the attic and to the outdoors. He spent a lot of extra time examining each of them to ensure whether they were properly hooked up or not. I very much appreciated all the advice about maintenance and repairs. I would highly recommend this company!

He was super good! It was a one fee of $299 for unlimited vents and dryer cleaning.  He did all the vents in the house except the dryer vents. Overall, they were AAA?s. He even got a bird?s nest down for me out of my guttering. The guy went out of his way, he even took a picture of all that he had cleaned. He was very educational, he explained where all my dust was coming from and what I needed to lookout for.  He also told me that I should get a new light for my heat pump.

 When he came in, he asked why I was having the service done and what problems was I having in the house. When I went to buy a new heat pump, I had talked to him before I had this air ducts cleaning. The old company didn?t ask me a question about why I needed a new heat pump. So, after I had my vents cleaned, that is when I went ahead with a different company and got another estimate. And I asked him all the questions that the air duct guy was asking me. Like was it going to take care of this and this. He was telling me how long the unit would last. It was a learning experience!

This company provided a wonderful customer service experience from start to finish! Do not be deterred if they don't answer the phone right away - it took me a couple of tries but then I was able to easily set up the appointment with someone via phone and text message. Our technician was fantastic: punctual, friendly, thorough, and efficient. He explained the process very well at the beginning and was extremely patient while it took me a few minutes to move my cats into a different room before he started. He also cleaned up perfectly - not one bit of dirt was left behind. The payment process was super easy via credit card with absolutely no surprises. Our air quality at home has never been better, and I'm just so grateful to have found this company. Thank you so much!

Normen is awesome! I arranged a group rate for 4 neighbors on our street, and he was very responsive to my emails. On the appointment day, he arrived exactly on time and spent over an hour doing a thorough job. He even attempted to diagnose an unrelated noise issue we'd been having with our dryer. He was forthright and said we would be better off calling a specialist. He then put up his ladder and climbed up the side of the house where the vent exhausts out, and pulled off the critter cage and brought it in to show me how much lint was trapped in it. It was shocking. He recommended replacing the cage with a double flap vent that would be less susceptible to clogging. I told him to go for it.
Overall, I was very happy with the service. He was polite and professional, and seemed extremely knowledgeable.

I had just installed a new dryer and it alerted me to a blocked vent. We called Normen's and got a quick response and quote from Elena on the phone. Normen and his assistant showed up to my house and performed the job, cleaning up the dryer ducts and suggesting things in the future to keep it clean.

Everything went well.  There were no hidden charges and he never tried to tell me that my system required more services.

It went very well.  Normen came on time (actually a few minutes early), did not push services, even told us we really did not need cleaning (he stated that most houses have far more dust in the ducts) but did agree with us that it was worth trying an Ultra Violet light given one member of our house's congestion during heating season.  We decided on the cleaning and light.

Normen works very hard, is very personable and helpful, did a great job, and was very neat.  In todays service world, Normen is a superstar and I only wish other service folks and contractors that work in my house were more like him.

I wish there was a higher grade than an A.

Normen and Sergey were punctual, came in the house and immediately took their shoes off. They could not have been nicer, telling me what they would be looking for. They then proceeded to check our return vents, which were clean, went downstairs to check the furnace and humidifier area for signs of dirt and leaks. Normen showed me the correct filter we should be using (we were using one that was slightly too small) and explained why. He then showed me the humidifier (which needed its filter replaced), explaining everything along the way.
Then he told me the ducts did not need cleaning. I was surprised - I had read other reviews that stated he said the same thing, but I was still nicely surprised at his honesty!
The dryer vent cleaning story was similar - we had the dryer pushed against the wall, and Normen showed me, and then moved the dryer, 4 inches from the wall. He cleaned the vent from near the dryer as well as from outside. He also installed a cage outside to prevent birds from flying in the vent (which I had seen them do), even explaining how he and quot;customizesand quot; the cage.
A great experience. I would definitely use him again, and would highly recommend him. Professional and honest - what more can you ask for?

It had been quite awhile since I'd had the vent cleaned. He showed me exactly how the vent had been installed and what I should be looking for in the future. I have an older home (1957) and I hadn't realized how the vent had been changed when we put an addition on the house. Not the most optimal solution, but he gave me three options for how to prevent problems in the future, and actually recommended the option that required the least effort/cost, which was, leave everything as is, it's up to code, but just be certain to have it cleaned annually. Very nice, personable man who assured me several times that if I had any problems I should call him back so he could make it right. I highly recommend him, and will definitely use him in the future.

Normen showed up on time with his assistant and worked quickly. They cleaned all the bird debris out of the dryer vent and installed a bird guard on the vent. I had them install a bird guard on the vent for the bathroom exhaust fan at his suggestion as well. Normen also took the time to suggest issues to look out for in the future. We would definitely use him again should the need arise.

Normen was great - super friendly and efficient. He and his assistant showed up on time and got right to work and were done quickly (an hour or two for our 2000 square foot home). He even suggested some upgrades we could make to ensure cleaner air in our home now that we have a baby. He was exceptionally polite and friendly. No hesitations on recommending him.
