This project went great! We used the in home consultation service. The representative was on time and was very helpful in recommending the right NDB window coverings. We ordered the products that day and a technican showed up the next day with the window coverings. He really know what he was doing and did everything in about 90 minutes. We are very happy with Next Day Blinds.

This was our 2nd time for using NDB. The entire process went smoothly. The in-home consultant provided outstanding service. She was professional, extremely knowledgeable of NDB products and made excellent recommendations. The installer was quite efficient; his many years of experience were demonstrated by how quickly he completed the installation. Would definitely recommend.

It went great! Easy to get an appointment, confirmation email and phone call received day before and 30 mins before. Mel was very easy to work with, very knowledgable, and gave great advice when picking window treatments for various parts of the house. We met on Monday and I'm having shades installed on Friday! Very quick turn around and great pricing! I will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommend!

We went to the Next Day Blinds location in Old Town Alexandria and had a consultation with Eddie the store manager. He spent a lot of time with us explaining the various options available to us. He gave us suggestions that would look great but be more budget friendly. He gave us samples of the various colors to take home as well. Since there was a lot of pending orders - it took about 2 weeks to get measured and 3 weeks for install but it ended up being worth the wait. We were very happy with all of Eddie's suggestions. The installer Robert was also very professional with the install and explained again the different options we had selected. Overall we were very happy with the end product!

ORIGINAL ORDER OVER $10,000 IN WINDOW TREATMENTS. OUR VINYL SHUTTERS DELIVERED UNWRAPED/NO PROTECTION ON A DIRTY TRUCK. END CAPS NOT FLUSH WITH SHUTTERS. AT LEAST ONE DOOR DAMAGED. NOT INSPECTED AS PROMISED PRIOR TO DELIVERY.( VINYL SHUTTER IN STORE AND SAMPLE VINYL SHUTTER FOR OUR WINDOWS WAS PERFECT.) TWO OF THE WOOD BLINDS MADE TO SHORT. WOOD SHUTTERS FOR FRONT DOOR (STILL PENDING) BROUGHT TO OUR HOME WITH DENTED SLATS IN THEM. THE DENTS WERE PAINTED OVER/SOME NOT COMPLETELY PAINTED. WE HAD BEEN PROMISED AGAIN THAT THE FRONT DOOR WOOD SHUTTERS WOULD BE COMPLETELY INSPECTED PRIOR TO DELIVERY. THEY WERE NOT. TWO OF THE ADVANCED INSTALLERS WERE EXCELLENT. THEY ARE ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTALLATION NOT MANUFACTURING. PROCESS STARTED 3/21/16, PENDING WOOD SHUTTERS FOR OUR FRONT DOOR. HAVE BEEN TO OUR HOME FOR INSTALLATION THREE TIMES. STILL PENDING FRONT DOOR WOOD SHUTTERS.

The whole process went really great. We stopped into the store to explore our options and the person working there was really nice. He gave us an overview of the difference between the blinds and what might work best for the bathroom we needed them in. He gave us little color chips as well so we could see which version of white would be best (all whites pretty much look the same to me, but my wife seems to know the difference). After making our selection, I called in and made an appointment for someone to come measure our windows. They came, were very nice and professional, and took about 5 minutes. He clearly new what he was doing. So the last step was to get them installed. The installer was fast and courteous and answered my questions right away. He also gave me some pro tips on how to best hang the old blinds in the garage, as I had mentioned that I was considering doing that. Overall A+

The blinds look beautiful and were the perfect solution to our large windows. We don't miss our old draperies at all. The blinds look modern and clean. Next Day Blinds was a pleasure to work with -- very professional. We did have an installation issue that took longer than expected and involved another service call. But the company was very responsive and took care of it right away to make sure we were satisfied customers. We would use them again and highly recommend them.

I called Next Day Blinds and they scheduled an appointment for Anna to measure my windows and advise me re types of blinds. When she came to measure for the blinds, Anna made an appointment for the installation the following day and gave me a 4 hour window. The following day Tiffany called to let me know a 2 hour window and then called again about 15 minutes before the installers arrived. Jay and Elliott installed the blinds, cleaned up, and showed me how to operate the blinds. Everyone was professional and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Next Day Blinds.

At the Kentlands store, we ordered Hunter-Douglas wooden blinds for 2 bathroom windows. We were very pleased with their service, from the woman who helped us choose and processed our order, to the staff who measured and installed the blinds. We decided to order bedroom shades from them, as well, but since we weren't as sure what we wanted, we used their shop-at-home service. The designer brought sample books and offered advice without being pushy. I was impressed that she brought something to protect our surfaces where she put her supplies. Once we made our choice, she took measurements and calculated our order. They offer their own products as well as Hunter-Douglas, and in this case we chose theirs, which are somewhat less expensive but seem to be of similar quality. Because they manufacture the shades locally, the turnaround time from order to installation is very fast. They send email containing all the order details and reminders of upcoming appointments for measuring and installation. (They charge $50 more for measuring and installing, but this ensures that they stand behind the accuracy.) In both cases, the installers were very professional and polite, took care not to make a mess, cleaned up completely, and finished their work quickly. I have had some bad experiences with a different, well-known national company, and my experience with Next Day Blinds couldn't have been any different. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Salesperson was on time and professional, just wasn't as knowledgeable as the other providers I met with - for example she didn't know whether the window treatment would sit on top of the window box or inside and told me I could have that conversation with the installer. Also the pricing was significantly higher than the one provided by the Louver Shop for Hunter Douglas shades which absolutely looked nicer. I would prefer to work with a company where you feel like the sales pitch and the installation are more closely tied.

I set up my in-home measure appointment online, and received a confirmation email introducing me to Erin, who was scheduled to come do the measuring on a Tuesday. Erin was very professional and knowledgeable, and I was so impressed with her that I ended up increasing my order from one to four sets of blinds. I chose the faux wood "Wood Essence" blinds, which are more affordable and are perfect for bathrooms (2 of the rooms where they were being hung). I appreciated Erin's honesty when she was unsure of the exact way to measure one particularly tricky window, so she set up a second measuring with a colleague 2 days later on Thursday. She was apologetic, but I agreed that it was important that the measuring was done properly even if it delayed things a bit. Donnell showed up promptly on Saturday, was extremely polite, and had the blinds hung in no time. He made sure I knew how to properly raise and lower them, and took the old blinds with him when he left. All in all, a very satisfactory experience.

This option is definitely more expensive than going to HomeDepot and buying standard blinds; however, if you have non-standard windows or are just not handy, the extra expense is worth it. Our sales rep came to our house and did all the measurements. She was very honest and helpful with recommendations - for one of the windows she actually recommended that we not purchase it through her. I appreciated that.

We were extremely pleased with Next Day Blinds. It was a pleasure to work with the providers. They were professional and punctual with all of the appointments. They were clear about all of the steps to complete the job. The end result exceeded my expectations. We continously get compliments on our blinds. We would definitely use them again in the future.

A customer service rep was sent out to measure and advise us on the different styles of window treatments. When we placed our order, a second customer service rep came out a few days before to double measure the windows, and day of installation for our vinyl plantation shutters was timely and efficient. They even made sure to give us tips on how they work and how to clean them!

I had a terrible experience. They had to come out 10 times to get it right. I would not recommend them. The service was good but, they don't know how to do their job. It was an electronic blind. It not something that I would recommend. Every time we had a problem they came out and would fix it.

When I walked into Next Day Blinds I was immediately greeted by a salesperson. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, so the salesperson went through my options based on the style and price range I was looking for. She was extremely patient, honest and helpful. She gave me some samples of various blind fabrics to sample in my kitchen against the painted walls. She also emailled me the approximate costs of my top 4 choices. After I had made my choice, I called the store to place my order. Right away I was given an appointment to have a representative come and measure. Then I was given and installation date. The measurement appointment went so smoothly, as did the installation. The installer was very professional. He showed me how to properly use my blinds, asked me if I had any questions , and cleaned up after himself. I absolutely love my blinds! They totally transformed my kitchen. The cost was so reasonable, yet it looks like I spent a fortune on them! The best part is how easy and quick the whole process was. I would definitely recommend Next Day Blinds. -Stephanie Cohen

He was so prompt - even early. Had what he needed on the truck. Fixed it and made it like new in about 15 minutes. Did not charge me. Said it was a courtesy call! I am so pleased and impressed and grateful!

The kids were happy and occupied with the toys and cookies. We were in and out of the store quickly, but with a clear understanding of the cost, process, and installation plan. We were able to schedule installation while we were in the store and there were several days and times available. The installation was great as well. The installers were friendly and professional. They were on time, kept the house clean and took all of the old blinds with them. They made sure I was happy with the installation and knew how to work the blinds. They checked the existing shutters we had to make sure they didn't need servicing. We are now about to sell our house - the new blinds and shutters will be a great selling point. We will definitely use Next Day Blinds for the new house.

We are now selling our house and the shutters and blinds are great features to help the house sell. We will definitely use Next Day Blinds for our next house.

I could not be happier. The salesperson was extremely helpful, measurement was prompt, and installation could not have gone better. And, they look great. I'm waiting right now for the installer to come a install another blind. I love this company. They have a good product and they act professionally.

What I like about Next Day Blinds is they give you a lifetime warranty. If my blinds fall down, they will come back out and put them back up for you without any charge. I have been using them for nearly eight years now. Actually before we moved here, we had Next Day Blinds at the other apartment and that was five years previously. They are very conveniently located and you can go in and look in the shop for different items they have there on demo and see which you would like to pick out. Their price is a little expensive, but sometimes, they have sale.
