Builder never pulled permits/did work according to code. We went to do renovations and found he cut ALL the corners behind the walls. We had to GUT our entire basement and start fresh. We believed the home to be "rebuilt" and move-in ready. We were sadly very wrong. We are now pursuing legal action. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Side note: He was flipping another home and was kicked out by fairfax county inspectors because he never pulled any permits before the work started.

"I have NEVER contracted with this member. National American is a ROOFING company, and this member is VERY happy with her new roof!! I, personally, renovated the home. Everything was in working order when it was purchased, as certified by HER Home Inspector. It is NOT a new home. All necessary permits were pulled for ADDED features, though none are necessary for repairs or replacements. This member is doing additional updates to the home, which exposes additional work as in any 50 year old home. These upgrades (recessed lights in the basement instead of the perfectly good existing lighting) were not cost effective to me for resale value. This member purchased this home AFTER all work was complete. She told us that after looking at "over 30 houses, this was by far the nicest home at this price point". I'm sorry her upgrades are costing more than she budgeted, however, I was never even asked for an estimate. CONTRACTORS BEWARE! She DID indeed send the County Inspector to our new project house. The inspector looked at our plans, and the permits posted in the window, reminded us that an inspection was needed before concealing wiring and pipes, and went on his way."

I hired Bob, the owner of the company, to replace my sidewalk after seeing him working in the neighborhood. He came as scheduled with several guys but what I thought would be a simple sidewalk rebuild turned into a nightmare. We had to intervene several times because the design wasn't as we had specified, the surface wasn't even, items were removed (a gate, etc.) and not replaced, and concrete was splattered on the porch, the storm door and the deck and not cleaned up. In addition, Bob was rude and offensive to his workers in a completely unprofessional way in front of his client.

North American Restoration Company was the company we selected to replace our roof and gutters as well as our siding due to recent hail damage. Their rates were exceptional and beat the competition. The work was completed ahead of schedule and at the rate agreed upon. The company also worked closely with my insurance so that I head absolutely no head aches during this roof replacement. The same excellent job applied to my replacement siding. When they were complete my house look brand new again. The work crew also left absolutely no mess for me to clean up after tehy finished the job. They garnered my highest recommendation!
