Carlos and his team have done several projects for me over the last five years including a full basement build out from framing through trim. His workmanship is excellent. He is always on time, keeps a very clean job site, and his crew has been with him since I started working with him five years ago. I highly recommend this company.

Munguias Drywall are completely professional. The job was set via e-mail and photographs. On the day the work was to be completed they arrived on time, had all relevant materials with them and completed the work quickly with no mess. I would encourage anyone in need of drywall to hire them.

Carlos and his crew were easy to work with. Carlos was able to stop by my home to look at my job within 24 hours of finding them and sending message through Angie's list. He then was available by text and then followed up with a quote by email within 2 days. Carlos followed up when he said he would. He broke down the estimate in 3 different options b/c at first I was looking at scraping all the ceiling in the effected area and adjoining kitchen. We discussed both options. I actually decided to just have him match the texturing pattern rather than move all my stuff into storage to complete the scaping job. Carlos did the ceiling first and was honest that he didn't have the right brush but when it was wet it did look like it sordof matched. I could have waited for him to order it but that would take a week. Once it dried it did not match! I called him to come back and he did. He charged me extra $ which I was not so happy about but it is what it is. In the end, the right brush was an exact match with the current texture and you can not tell that there was a 10 x 4 ft hole cut in my ceiling. He was able to come back and sand off all the previous texture and redo it to match perfectly. Next time, I'd tell myself to just be patient. I had received other quotes for similar services but his was more honest and his reviews really focused on him doing the texturing work. It is more of an art than science. If you are needing the texturing matched rather than doing the messy job of scraping, Carlos is the one to do the work. Carlos also installed recessed can lights for me and did all the wire pulling and plaster cutting and patching. He left is sanded and ready for prime/paint that I did. Carlos and his team were on time, they were neat and left my space clean and free of debris if returning the next day. The team was a pleasure to have in my space. They wore masks while inside and generally seem like they enjoy doing what they do and like their team. I wish I would have known that he also did other types of renovation work. I will definitely keep him in mind for future work.

We first hired Carlos and his team to drywall our upstairs bedroom a year ago after we had some installation work done. We were so impressed that we hired them to do the framing and drywall for our kitchen remodel and some finish tile work. Carlos explained everything clearly, including options for how to handle a load bearing wall we wanted to remove. He always showed up on time and left the house clean. He's been clear about jobs (like installing our new gas line) that should be done by a specific tradesman rather than attempting to do it himself which shows real integrity. His prices are fair. We highly recommend his team and plan to use them for future projects.

Carlos had previously done a smaller project for us but, he did such a great job, we hired him to remodel two bathrooms. Like the first project, the finished work looks fantastic and we’ve thoroughly been enjoying our updates space. Carlos and his team were great to work with and were flexible as we ran into challenges hidden behind the walls of our older home. He’ll be our first call when we plan our next home project.

Carlos was extremely easy to work with and finished ahead of schedule. We were so impressed with the quality of his work that we quickly hired him for another project. I had reached out to four providers for quotes on this project. He gave me his quote within hours of meeting and I trusted my gut and hired him right away, before even hearing back from others. I made the right choice. A few hours later I received quotes that were double what his was. After the project started I realized I wanted to move an existing light switch given where the new wall would be. While it would have been perfectly reasonable to charge me extra for that, Carlos was very gracious and just took care of it without charging extra. We’ll definitely be hiring him again.

The project went very, very well. I am by no means an easy reviewer. I received many bids for the project and chose Munguias Drywall because of the cost, timeline, and attention to detail they provided to me. Carlos, in the response, was very prompt, professional, and came by on time to ascertained the issues (as the other potential contractors did). However, Carlos honed in and provided information on a very important outlier that the other contractors did not--and he was absolutely correct in his initial assessment and that factored into the repair, and that is why I chose that company. His pricing estimates were within what other contractors proposed, but in addition to catching that one outlier, had shorter timelines for start and completion dates. When doing the work, they were accurate in timelines and kept me abreast of progress. I am very happy with the outcome of the project(s). He and his crew were very professional, on-time, very mindful of my home, quiet, non-disruptive, and completed the work on-time and on budget/on quote. Given that experience, I absolutely have more projects for them to complete and the list continues to grow.

I have used Carlos and his crew for four projects in my home because the combination of workmanship, price, and professionalism was second to NONE. They have renovated my basement after a flood and their drywall work was better than the original. In addition, Carlos did outstanding carpentry work in a room we decided to re-design. They also remodeled a bathroom, including tiling, carpentry, drywall and painting and we could not have been more pleased.

After water damage I used Munguia’s Drywall and they did a fabulous and thorough job and finished on time. Carlos, the owner, was great at communicating timeline and the final price was what I was quoted. It was a smooth process from first contact to project completion and I would happily use Carlos again.

We had 4 large outdated recessed lights (Square) removed and new ones inserted (circle) and needed ceiling patched for the new shape and textured b/c the whole ceiling was textured. I wrote/called with them on a Tuesday and by Thursday afternoon, the work was done and exactly as I'd hoped. I'm so grateful and will definitely use them again for a variety of the services they provide.

We originally hired Carlos and his team to drywall our basement ceiling and repair some damaged areas. We were so pleased with his work, that we turned a three day job into a three week basement renovation extravaganza. The results are absolutely beautiful and it was a great experience working with him. He had some fantastic ideas to address the challenges of our "finished" basement which had been "renovated" by the previous owner. I feel like there is nothing he can't do. His quote was slightly higher than other contractors we interviewed, but his talent, team, and craftsmanship were more than worth it. I can't recommend him enough!

All the work they did was excellent and looks great. This was the 4th time we used them on various home remodeling projects and have always been very happy with the quality of the wok and also the price. They are always easy to work with and very efficient.

Carlos came out for a free estimate and provided a detailed online quote that was very competitive. He was able to work with our tight timeline and finished the whole house in a few days. Significant challenges with timely communication and responsiveness. Ultimately, the work was done well. The main issue experienced was related to communication.

I contacted Carlos and his response was quick. I had 3 ceiling fans installed with braces and needed some ceiling repairs completed. I sent him pictures and had a quote soon after. His price was fair and he completed the work in 24 hours.
