Used a sledge hammer to get the knuckle apart and now I am having rust issues with the knuckles on both front sides of my car at the points the sledge struck the knuckle. Moore is very unprofessional, and unresponsive to phone calls.

I live in Maryland and recently purchased my mother-in-law's 1996 Honda Accord for my daughter. When I took the car to a Maryland State Vehicle Inspection site and had it inspected, I was told that the car had numerous items that would need to be repaired before it would pass inspection. I decided to call Moore Automotive for an estimate since this is where the car was maintained since it's purchase in 1995. The quote was fair so I scheduled an appointment to have the work done at Moore. Within 45 minutes of bringing the car in for the and quot;necessaryand quot; work, two mechanics approached me and told me that the repair work to be done was unnecessary. They stood to make over $1100 if they had just done the work indicated on the inspection form, but instead they were honest and forthcoming and only charged $14.15 to replace a brake light!
Upon leaving Moore Automotive I decided to have the car inspected at another Maryland State Inspection station (at the cost of another $85) hoping that the outcome would be more favorable. Well, they concurred with what the mechanics at Moore Automotive found and the car passed inspection.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the honesty and integrity of the staff at Moore Automotive. Our family has been using Moore Automotive for more than fifteen years and we will continue to service all of our cars with them, as well as recommend them to others.

Moore opened the shop for us, devoted the bulk of their efforts thatday to the cars we brought in, and generally put up with having lots of people milling around their garage all day. These guys know what they're doing, and are extremely laid back. Really, just an overall fantastic experience.

I have used them multiple times. In the past, I liked them more than how much I like them now. The original owner died, and his wife sold the business to somebody else. They know cars, but the communication with the owner isn't very good. It's a bit of an inconvenience.

Great job. Very nice on the phone, receptive when I brought the car in and they had the cars ready when promised. Plus the work was done right the first time.
