It's possible there was something else going on that caused all the miscommunication and delay; but I didn't hear anything from Brian besides the first choice linoleum being out of production.
Once everything came they did the job in two days; which was good.
The carpet installation was good, though it's a little off in one spot on the stairs.
The linoleum was not glued thoroughly on the edges, which I know is tough to do. I think it could have been glued gotten closer to the wall, personally. Descriptions I read on linoleum work online and in texts showed it was a bit of work to do; but not all that tough to glue it all the way to the wall with the right tools, etc. As Brian said, the molding mostly covered and held it down (though not as well as he indicated it would). To my knowledge, he never did come over and look at it; he just commented on the phone that that was the way it was.
I left my two-wheel hand-truck in the basement so the workers could move the dryer and washer around for the linoleum installation. When I checked after, the wheels were half-covered in dried glue. Brian said he'd get back to me about that; but never did. I mostly hacked off the glue myself. It left marks on the rug, though, which I also had to clean, when I used it to move books and things back to the basement.
I might use them again for specific jobs; but I'll look elsewhere first
Good.
