I had decided to replace my furnace's draft blower assembly and found I needed help. I had already partially disassembled the furnace, but couldn't figure out how to easily get the old assembly out. David McGee came over the same day and popped out the old assembly and then popped in the new one. I put the rest of the furnace back together myself. Last summer, his staff upgraded our house wiring. The house is a small single story, three bedroom, one bath dwelling with an unfinished basement. The circuits had grown organically since the house had been built in 1952, one third of the house was on a single circuit, plus most outlets were ungrounded. By the time we were done, the circuits had been separated, reorganized and grounded. We also added at least seven new outlets, two ceiling fans, a new bathroom light, a built-in medicine cabinet, new ceiling lights in our office and spare bedroom, and a whole house circuit breaker. His staff worked patiently and flexibly with me as they determined where circuits ran and which could be combined. They also screwed drywall in where they had to cut holes in the wall. However, we agreed that I would do all drywall patching and painting to keep costs down. I also purchased the materials myself or gave them money to pick up supplies at the hardware store. The total cost of the whole project came to around $4600.
Description of Work: Repaired furnace. Previously, he and his staff upgraded our house wiring which was ungrounded and also helped a friend with plumbing problems. Mr McGee also found the source of a recurring ceiling crack in our house and provided instructions for me to fix the problem myself. They are professional and conscientious. I would definitely recommend them.
