Mattress Outlet Inc

We recently purchased a mattress from this store. The showroom model  felt great but the one that was delivered to our house is very hard and uncomfortable. We returned to the store to make sure that we were not mistaken about the comfort level and confirmed that the showroom model felt nothing like the one that we purchased. I do not think that the mattress in the showroom is the same model as the one that was delivered to our house, even though the labels are the same. It certainly is not the same quality. The store would not make any attempts to work with the manufacturer to swap out our mattress or try to address the problem in any way. I tried talking to the someone at the manufacturer's headquarters. The person would not provide any help and couldn't explain the difference other than to say that the mattress foundation in the store might have been different, or the bed might have softened-up from use in the store. We were hopeful that a small chain would give better service than the big ones.  However, one of the store employees said that the larger chains actually have more flexibility to work with customers when there is a problem. We like to support local businesses but in this case, it didn't work well for us.
