This man has scammed us out of $4200. We have filed with the BBB, the Md. Attorney General's Office (both to no avail) and presently have a case open with the Md. Home Improvement Commission. Although we checked with several of his references, we failed to confirm his credentials. We have learned some very costly lessons, but would like to save anyone else from making the same. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
Description of Work: Myoung No Sil, operating as M.N.S. Painting, provided a quote of $9200 to scrape lead paint from our 87 yr. old house. He presented himself as licensed and certified as a lead paint abatement contractor. We sent him a deposit of $4200 in June of 2005. He postponed work all summer, saying it was "too hot". He did not come to our house until September, for "testing". He used a propane torch (!?!) on 2 small areas and proclaimed the job would cost $2000 more. We called the next day to cancel the contract and he quickly agreed to send our deposit back. He has not refunded our deposit as of March 2006 and does not answer his phone or respond to mail.
