Requested refill prescription for heartworm preventative for dogs and it was filled and dispensed. Check out was efficient, but did not get the feeling of being rushed at any time during the visit.
Very happy with Little River Veterinary Clinic and will continue to take my pets to see the doctors and staff.4000 BURKE STATION RD
I am extremely satisfied with all the services provided to me by the staff at Little River Vet Clinic, highly recommend them and will continue to take my pets there.
I also took my other cat Scuba Elvis for a wellness check today and saw Dr. Park. She was very thorough, understood my anxiety as well as Scuba's. She listened to my input, asked a few questions and took Scuba in the back for an exam. She came back a little while later and stated the physical exam went well but we would have to wait until next week for the results. I recommend Dr. Park as well...
COSTS: Scuba's visit today was approximately $200 (with Pet Assure) and the bill from Stinky's last exam, tests, euthanasia and cremation was just over $400 (no Pet Assure). I gave them a B, becasue it is very expensive but I understand it is an individual committment. I have been to more expensive vets (in this region) and to more economical vets (not in the DMV region). Having Pet Assure reduces a lot of the costs by 25%
My cat got fluids, blood tests, an antibiotic. The vet, showed me the gum disease my cat had. She made recommendations that we discussed based on need, cost and discomfort to cat. She was very patient and answered all my questions. The techs were very polite and kind to my cat.
Cat got an injection of antibiotics and sub-cu fluids. In 24 hours he was almost back to normal(Tuesday afternoon)
On Wed they called and wanted us back to discuss outcome of tests and give cat more sub-cu fluids. Techs were very nice, even cleaned cat carrier after cat had accident. Dr Downs patiently explained options and cost and together we came up with a do-able treatment plan for my cat, that I could afford and would best help the cat. I recevied meds, new prescription food and fluids to administer. They even helped carry all of our stuff back to our car.
The folks are awesome. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to a friend.
