Overall I'd hire him to do just about anything!  Keith is a great person who's willing to give you tips even if he's not on the clock.  Just an amazing guy who does amazing work!   We saw substantial improvements every day and the entire project took a week.  We also followed his advice on when to strip and stain the deck, which turned out to be extremely valuable advice.  He did a great job!
Project was delayed due to permit gathering in fairfax city (manual, make an appointment system) and the weather. 

Overall, excellent job.

The job took 6 days. He stripped two coats of stain then hand sanded our 25' x 14' foot deck. He then applied the fresh coat of stain that was about $50 a gallon. I thought the price was very fair for the work. Keith Blanchard is the owner. He is amazing! He is very honest and there are no surprises about the cost. He is so efficient and takes no short cuts. He does fantastic work! We are hiring him again to repair drywall and do some caulking. I will never call anyone but for him for any future projects.

the job went well. Keith was able to start fairly quickly. he took the damaged walls down, re-insulated and put up new walls. then he painted all wall in both rooms.

it was a very stressful time buying the house and then trying to get a lot of work done before we moved in. Keith (of K&B builders) gave me a great estimate. it was clear from talking to him that he knew what he was talking about. i liked that he, who was giving me the estimate, would actually be doing the work. being the one doing the work Keith caught several things estimators for other contractors missed. the work went fairly smoothly and Keith worked with us in setting the schedule and working other contractors into the house to paint and refinish the floors and put in new steps among other things. we had given Keith a deadline since we had to move in at the end of sept. the work was as far along as we required it and the move went fairly smoothly. Keith finished up the work and cleared the punch list soon after that.

They do good work. They are good guys, they'll do it and do it right. Sometimes they get here late. They have good follow up and I even keep in contact with a couple of the workman. Anytime I need work done or touch ups I call them.

Keith did an excellent job removing old damaged shingles and replacing with new shingles I provided. He arrived on time and the day after I called.

outstanding project. Not a big paperwork guy so I had to work with him to get scope of work correct, but job started on time. I have 4 kids and Keith kept the place clean at night, was on time every day, and did all of the detail work based on pictures from magazines. Can't say enough good things. Only thing for those wanting this kind of work - he can do anything but the homeowner needs to work with him on all of the details include tile design, carpentry details etc..
