Provider was prompt for the estimate and gave details when there was a slight delay for the start of the job. Job was finished on time. Very,very difficult to get most providers to bid on stair tread replacement, all wanted to replace the entire stairway. JSL said this was not needed. Cracked treads were replaced with new and all were sanded and sealed to match the new treads. Would certainly recommend for future work.

It was a disaster. They started worked hard for three days and then disappeared for weeks. They were unprofessional, impossible to contact and eventually the guy came and got the garbage but it took weeks and weeks of almost constant attempt of getting him to come back. I would not use them again.

"We did not "disapear for weeks". We di however have to start another job and come back intermittenly because this home owner changed the scope of the job on the first day. The closet got larger by 50% andf she added cabinet installations that were not part of the original contract.. Our time table did not include the additional work so we fit it in as we could."

It wasn't the best. We had to go behind him and clean up. I did refer him a few more times after that, but I didn't get a lot of good feedback from the clients so I stopped referring his services. I don't think I would recommend him. He didn't do what he said he was going to do with me. The professionalism wasn't as good as it should be.

We are very happy with the floors. The wood floors look beautiful. I would absolutely recommend him for wood floors. We also hired him to do carpeting in the basement. We did encounter some problems with the installation, some of the seams were not done correctly. We had to have repairmen out twice to get them fixed correctly. However, Jeff did a great job making sure that we were happy with the final product and followed through to make the repairs. His prices are good and you do get very individualized services. Sometimes it takes him a day or two to get back in touch with you but he does always return phone calls or e-mails. I would recommend him to others without reservation.

They did an excellent job, he gave a very competitive proposal, and started and finished when he promised, his crew did a great job.
