James "Chief" Gladwin is an old-school contractor. He was conscientious and professional. Between contract signing and window installation, he called twice to confirm the status and on-time delivery. He was personally involved in the installation, (all done in one day on a Saturday), and he and his installer did a great job, cleaning each window prior to installation and 'touch up' caulking each window to ensure a good seal (tho leaving necessary weep holes at the sills!) They cleaned up completely when finished and took away all the old windows. His main business is apparently kitchen/bath/home remodeling and storm windows just a side-line. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for a window project and he'd be my first call if I had a remodeling job.
