 + -1 moreThe frame from Ellen's Futons and a futon mattress I already had have been regularly used since, the frame provides excellent support for the mattress.
Description of Work: After looking at their website and seeing several futon frames that looked like they would meet my needs I visited the store to see the quality and finish of their floor samples. Found one model that was perfect for the room it would be in and placed an order,to be delivered to the store, where I would pick it up. Three days later I got a phone message that it had arrived and was ready for pickup. The futon frame was in three packages (headboard, footboard and side rails). The packaging was excellent, completely protected the pieces from damage. The three packages fit easily into my sedan, with the rear seat folded down to accomodate the side rail package. Once home I unpacked and assembled the frame in an hour, all pieces and fasteners were found in plastic bags along with the assembly instructions.

 + -1 moreWhen I made the second purchase I asked if I could return the cover beyond the time limit that was posted due to special circumstances. The sales person agreed, as long as the cover was not used. She included a note on my receipt. When I returned to the store to try to return the cover because it did not turn out to meet my needs -- color didn't work -- the same sales person waited on me and refused to accept the return. She offered to exchange or provide a credit. There were limited colors in the store and customs were expensive. I chose to exchange for a plain white cover.
Description of Work: I had purchased a full sized futon cover at the Fairfax 1 store, 7 years ago and returned in early July 2007 to purchase another.
