EF Works Professional Home Inspections

Provider lied to my son and stole his money.  Despite many phone calls and emails by my son, in addition to my son's real estate agents, Eric Frolia still would not provide the home inspection report that had been paid for in full.  Mr. Frolia cashed the check and refused to complete his services.  When Mr. Frolia did finally answer his phone, he refused to complete his paid for services and refused to refund my son's money.  IN our opinion, Mr. Frolia is a liar and nothing more than a common criminal.

Eric & his team are very professional & do beautiful work.  Very thorough work, fair pricing, responsive to the customer's needs.  The men always cleaned up afterwards (which is always nice).  My project ran a few months but I was very pleased at the outcome!

Eric performed the home inspection of our current residence prior to closing in March.  He accurately identified a number of issues that required service.  We did some pretty extensive renovation and have now been in the house for several months and every issue he identified for further exploration was valid and we have not had any surprises from missed items.
Further, I found him to be a great guy to work.  Professional, responsive, punctual, easy to get along with.
I was favorabley impressed enough to use his company for other work and was also very pleased with that as well.

Eric arrived early and had already completed the exterior inspection before we got there.  He then toured the entire interiior of the house, including the attic and the basement.  When he was finished, he reviewed his findings with us, answered questions, and made suggestions for ways to anticipate future maintenance needs and thus save money.  Later he sent us his report in PDF format.  His findings were clear and easy to understand.  As a a consquence, the seller was cooperative and agreed to fix almost everything on Eric's list.
Some things Eric pointed out were nice to know but were not requested of the seller.  Eric is a Class A contractor in Virginia, which, among other things, means he has a pretty good handle on the building code.  So besides identifying whether things worked or didn't work, he was able to comment on whether things had been done to code when the home was built.  For example, he was able to determine the seller had "probably" finished the basement without a building permit due to the fact electrical outlets were either missing or else spaced too far apart along the wall.  While this was not a show stopper, this was valuable information to have if and when the basement is built out further.
