Did not tell us anything that could not be seen by walking around yourself. Total time spent was less than 2 hours including sitting in the truck to create the report. Did not go on the roof at all (it was too dangerous) used binoculars! Missed termite damage that was later found in termite inspection. Did not identify severity of rot in a large picture window that was leaking water between the wall. Did not check outlets. Overall feel it was a waste of money.

Our second inspection with Mr Drewry. We remembered the first one as going great, and saving us some money. For example, he showed us that the roof was the original roof and needed to be replaced. The second time was not so good, we found out when he arrived that Mr Drewry could no longer go on to the roof, due to an injury, and it turned out to be a critical issue. We did not learn until a few months after buying the house that the chimney crown had collapsed. There was absolutely no way to see it without actually climbing a ladder and getting on the roof. Before taking Mr. Drewry on for the second time, we had no foreknowledge of his inability to climb -- and he didn't tell us, so we were stuck. No idea why he could not have had an assistant do it for him. The roof is easy to access. Net result: We never had the opportunity to find out and ask questions about the chimney--such as how long it had been that way. After discovering it, we filled it in with cement and hopes for the best.
