Plumbing
The company sent 2 technicians to assess the project and provide an estimate. The estimate to install the garbage disposal (which we supplied) was $440 and the estimate to replace the shower head (which we supplied) was $224. I refused the work based on the exorbitant amount and was then charged $86.95 for the 10 minutes that the technicians took to provide the estimate. My friend from out of town then came over and did the project (including rewiring the garbage disposal) in less than an hour. When we called the company to complain about the $665 estimate for an hour's work, he stated that he had to pay his technician's $35 an hour and that his business needs to make money! $600 an hour is outrageous!!!@
