Chuck's Small Engine Repair

The guy really, really knows lawn mowers and tillers and stuff like that. I was just trying to get my stuff going for the summer. Small engines don't do well on ethanol gas and stuff like that. He fixed two of them in about 20 minutes. He gets the highest grade. He was wonderful. I've used him twice. The guy is good. What's specific is he knows the machines. He doesn't even look at manuals. He knows whether a hose is the right hose, whether a filter is the right filter; I think I know machines but he just baffled me. He charged me fifty dollars to come out here because he's comes out from Fairfax in a van. I tell you, I gave him more than he asks for because he was so freaking good. I think the bill was $150 and I gave him $175. He gets the highest grade there is. I wouldn't use him if he wasn't good. I think his responsiveness is amazingly well. He works out of his garage in Fairfax but he also makes house calls. I've got some leg and arm problems and I didn't want to haul all of my stuff in there. He was out the next week. He said when he was going to be here and he pulled in on the minute. He's a little rough around the edges but I am too so we got along fine. The guy knows his stuff and if you don't know your stuff he may intimidate you. That's the only down mark on him. But he's right. The guy is right. If you're a dumb shit he's going to call upon you. To me he's very professional but you've got to understand that I've been around the world a few times. Saying that I screwed up with my gas can, when I did, didn't bother me. If you don't have enough backbone to put up with your dumb mistakes you shouldn't be there. I would absolutely use him again. In fact, he's the only guy I'd call.
