My entire experience with this service was top notch, and I wouldn't trust a clock with anyone else. Joon is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade. When he came to our house, he patiently explained everything that I needed to know about what he would do to move, clean, fix, and monitor our clock to get it back in working order. As a result, I felt very confident that our family heirloom was in good hands. Through email and phone he was always responsive, communicative, and flexible about arranging days to meet. When he delivered the clock again, he took the time to explain to us about proper care and maintenance. He's a wealth of information and I'm glad we found him!

I had a great experience at Charly's! I needed a new watch resized and an old watch repaired (broken crystal and dying battery). The resizing took less than 5 minutes. He advised me that replacing the crystal on my Seiko would only make sense if the battery was the real issue (he took the time to explain that with my particular watch it's likely the real problem is with the quartz movement that can't be repaired). He recommended that I replace the battery ($8) and wait to see if it keeps proper time before investing in a new crystal. I really appreciate his honesty and will be using Charly's again in the future

He did a good job but it was about 5 months for the repair.

When I went in I expected to have to leave the clock at the shop and wait my turn to have it fixed. The gentleman took one look at the clock and said he could fix it right away. Went to run a quick errand and when I returned the clock was fixed and he explained what he replaced. Went back two days later because the clock pendulum would stop after a few minutes. He took time to explain the importance of keeping the clock level, the problem of the pendulum resolved and I was a very happy customer.

In their add it said that they serviced Prince William County. I live in the middle of Prince William County. If they do not service don't advertise that they do. |

I took in my mantle clock determined to have it fixed. It was handmade by my friend's grandfather, so the sentimental value was great. I checked out and quot;Angie's Listand quot; before I decided on who would be tasked to fix it. The gentleman at Charley's was extremely helpful and friendly. He told me that to fix the clock would be actually more than just going out and purchasing new. After I explained the importance of it, he gave me a couple of options of fixing it. He warned me that the clock may have to look different to fit the new timepiece.
When I picked it up, the clock looked exactly the same. It works beautifully, and I am so happy to have it back chiming again.
