CEDAR PARK AUTO BODY

This repair was covered by insurance; that is the dollar amount listed above.  I dropped my vehicle off and left it for the expected 3 days.  When I picked my vehicle up, the door handle on the driver's side was loose and actually came off.  I immediately returned to the provider and was told that it was due to the age of the car, this was not surprising.  However, the technician did glue the handle back in place, where it has remained ever since.  Not a big deal.
On the other hand, I started noticing electrical problems after this repair which had not existed previously.  The central console button for the electronic door locks no longer worked.  Again I returned and explained the problem.  The mechanic took apart the driver's door which had been disassembled in the repair process, checked everything, and stated that they had not caused the problem.  I then took the vehicle to my normal BMW repair shop, whom I trust, and asked for their opinion.  After checking the vehicle, they said it was not possible to attribute the electrical problem to the body shop.  I ended up paying for that repair out of my own pocket.  In retrospect, I probably should have gone back to the insurance provider and solicited their intervention since the problem did not exist before the repair.  I will give Cedar Park Auto Body the benefit of the doubt on this one but will be more wary and reactive to this type of situation in the future.
Cedar Park Auto Body did an excellent job on the body work and repainting.  If that is all you need, then there are no question marks.

My 1957 Willys Pickup has a very narrow cab and unless you are built like a beanpole steering the truck was difficult. So I decided to replace the Steering column with a shorter one made by Ididit. Took it to Cedar Park and they gave me a quote. I told them to go ahead and do the work.

The firm deserves credit for even taking on this difficult job on a rare, older automobile. Even more credit for giving me a price in advance, which another firm refused to do. Still more credit for sticking to that price even though the job proved even more difficult than they first thought and they had to contract out some of the work.

They did everything fine. I would give them high grades. They were pleasant and easy to work with. They did the work and did it well. I was pleased with the results. The second time I went in, the quote was so high that I immediately looked for another provider.

After the accident, Cedar Park Auto Body worked closely with me and my insurance company. They kept me and my insurance informed of things happening. As they were repairing the car, they ran into other damages and were very good about informing me and my insurance what they ran into. The insurance company even came down to the shop to check things out. It was an excellent experience and the service was great.

THEY QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY REPAIRED OUR MINIVAN - WONDERFUL JOB. SINCE THE DAMAGE WAS OUR OWN, WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF POCKET AND THEY WERE VERY FAIR. WE'VE USED THEM THREE TIMES.
