C & P Tree and Landscape

Took the up-front deposit.
Came back to ask for more money.
His employee used a backhoe instead of a trencher.  Destroyed my entire yard.  Knocked down my kids' playhouse.
Job was supposed to be complete within 6 weeks.
After 4 months, the owner (Chris) just quit trying.
He informed me he used my $4K initial deposit to pay his back child support.
He never came back to finish the job, never refunded my $4,000, and destroyed my yard in the process.
I would never use him again. 

Workers were recommended by an acquaintance, who said she had them work on her yard.  We invited them, told them what we wanted and they gave us an estimate.  We invited them to come and do the yard work.  They arrived and insisted on being paid upfront before the work was done.  We were unable to be present while the work was done, but were told that the workers would return if we were not satisfied.  When we returned we found that the work had not been done as we requested.  We telephoned 15 times over the next two weeks to the two telephone numbers on the firm's card and sent it emails, but the phone was never answered and we never received any replies or calls back.
