Perfectly! Mr. Ko came out with samples of shingles. He explained why putting shingles over the old roof was a terrible idea and he would not do it. I saw the wisdom of it with his explanation. He made sure I understood the whole process, which I really appreciated. The only thing that couldn't be predicted was the cost of decking should any pieces of wood (decking) be rotten. He said it would be $60 (I only needed 2). We set a date for installation. The crew showed up early on that date and worked efficiently, cleaned up, knocked on the door to say good-bye. It was a very smooth process and worth every penny. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Barnabas Ko Construction!

Barnabas Ko Construction is excellent contractor company with outstanding service. I could not have asked for the process to go more smoothly!  These are the most hardworking people we ever hired. The owner is very particular to the details. He came several times to do a measurement and make sure this is what we wanted. They worked straight 9-10 hours per day and were available to answer questions very late night by phone and email. The project was huge as we replaced the windows for the entire house. Our old windows was in pretty bad shape and most of the windows had been shut for years. The job was completed within 3 days and there were no future problems with the installation work. My home feels and looks great from inside and outside.

Mr. Ko and his crew were fantastic! The estimate was fair and the end cost was what was originally estimated. Mr. Ko was very easy to work with despite a bit of a language barrier. We had some initial concerns about the start date as it kept getting pushed back due to Mr. Ko's schedule. He wanted to be sure he was in town for the whole job so he could manage his crew properly, which we greatly appreciated. The work took much less time than originally thought (3 days) and was hardly disruptive to our daily routines at all. The work was expertly done and looks great. We are so happy with our new siding and would absolutely hire Barnabas Ko again.

He thoroughly explained what the issues were with the roof, why the leaks had occurred( even took pictures) and what would be the best course of action to remedy the situation. Barnabas always kept me in the loop of what he was doing and why. He prefers email as his spoken English is not the best.

This is a person who takes pride in what he does, he is not out to make a quick buck. For example he had originally quoted me a price for additional plywood that may be required in order to complete the job e.g $600 -$1200, he couldn't be sure of the exact cost until he removed the shingles on the roof. In the end the additional cost of the plywood and other materials came to $415.

Our Gutter came away from the fascia because of rot. He was quick to respond with a reasonable price which was less that half that of the other quotes received. Once materials were received the work was completed in a day opposed to two proposed by others. Wonderful job was performed.

We had a GREAT experience with this company. Mr. Ko came out quickly after our phone call to measure and give an estimate. His estimate was significantly less ($2000) than even our friend the contractor. He offered many choices of siding, and helped make recommendations when asked. Our order came in on time and work was scheduled promptly. Mr. Ko came out multiple times a day to supervise his crew, and responded immediately when there was an issue regarding our power box (the power company was trying to charge us unecessarily, not him).
The only extra charges was $300 for materials that he could not have anticipated (house had rotting sections under the shingles). Work was completed quickly, and the crew was professional and friendly. Only possible critique was the cleanup wasn't as efficient as I would have hoped considering we have 3 small kids and 2 dogs running around the yard (we found insulation and screws/nails around the house). Even then we would hire him again if we ever had another house to fix up!

He was replacing the siding and gutters for my neighbor and I contacted him regarding gutter replacement. The response time was very fast. Clean-up was good. Good workmanship. We had a few minor communication problems that were no big deal. He gave me color swatches beforehand and had a good color match.

He did a great job. He had a very good price for all the work he performed. He had to come back and do repair work on a hole that a Heating and AC company had punched in the siding. He is very reliable.
