We have used them several times before. They came within an hour because we had water in our basement. They are really good and we will highly recommend especially if you have a well system.

  • My filtration system had been serviced by Bell and Pump for about 2 years on a regular basis until august of 2013. In May of 2013, I called for service due to a clog in the filtration system. The water stopped runnning once this happened. The technician told me that there is nothing wrong and I just need to backwash  the system more frequently blaming the excessive use of the water for the pool. I doubted his explanation since I only used less than 2 thousand gallons over a 3 day period to top off the pool. However I went along with the explanation.
  • In August of 2015, the same problem surfaced.  This time Bell has to disassemble the entire filtration system, washed and clean the sediment clogging the sand filter and replace the pump head on the filter unit. The also recommended a pressure tank to reduce the excessive clay? in the system. The real issue was that the well pump is failing and plastic pieces of the pump was clogging the filter. Ofcourse, they should had detected in prior visit in May this problem instead of 3 months later.
Excess delay in diagnosis and treatment in addition to unnecessary equipment ( the pressure tank is 1,500 dollars) are perhaps all avoidable if they had made the proper diagnosis.
During this Aug 2013 visit, one of the tech made the comment that they had worked on the house 8 years ago in 2005 when the house was newly built. This came as a surprise to me since Mr. Bell- the owner had never mentioned of this fact when I met him initially to buy the new system. The house had been in damaged due to disuse for a couple of years prior to being sold to me.
I approached Mr Bell about lying to tell me this fact. His answer was " Why do I need to know? ". I think a consumer has the right to know if a repair person had work on a car or a house and has a right to good records.
This is dishonest at best and illegal at worse. I ask readers to make up their own mind whether they would use someone with better morals and integrity who could be confident not to withhold information about their work.
