I couldn't be happier with the oil tank removal service that I received from Affordable Oil & Tank Removal. From start to finish the project was completed in a prompt, professional manner. I called for an estimate late afternoon and Brian stopped by on his way home that evening to look at the scope of the job. Estimate was received the next day and work was performed on time the following day. All this was done at a very reasonable price -- other two estimates I received were SIGNIFICANTLY higher.

Contacted Brian and he was able to come over and give me a fair price to remove our above ground oil tank in our basement. Brian and Jimmy were on time professional and thorough. Drop cloths were placed to protect our carpet. They cleaned up all of the dirt and debris that was left behind and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Brian from Affordable Oil Tank Removal was great to work with. I needed a decommissioned oil tank removed from our basement and Brian returned my phone inquiry within an hour. He requested pictures of the tank and our basement to make sure he had the right plan in place, and had everything out and sealed up within the time allotted to the job at a very reasonable price. I can't recommend his work enough!

This company was great. I had my fuel oil tank removed from my basement. Brian (owner) promptly responded for my request for quotation and explained the process to me in detail. We scheduled my job a week and a half later. He arrived promptly and prepped the tarps and ventilation. Job was done professionally and quickly. I would definitely use them again. The price was extremely reasonable.

Two day job, guys came out and hand-dug the tank out of the ground. Used torches to cut metal and remove piece by piece. When work was done, everything inspected, they hand tamped soil back in and filled the hole...seeded, covered, and made sure everything was back to normal.
The guys who came out to do the work were awesome and overall, this company saved me around $750 from the next best option for oil tank removal / excavation

Brian Kelly is the owner and does the work with his assistant Mike. They are courteous and responsive. Very nice to work with. For example, Brian was running late so he texted me to tell me. Work was done professionally and cleaned up as promised, with not much smell in the basement as they cleanly removed the tank in pieces. I would highly recommend them.

We got a couple of different quotes for this work and Affordable Oil and Tank Removal had the right balance between cost and claimed experience for us. We had the owner come out within one day of our call to give us an estimate for the job and he provided an appropriate amount of follow up when we didn't set up a date for service right away. It was simple to set up a date with a arrival time range. On the evening before we received a text asking if we could change the arrival time to a few hours later--my job is fairly flexible so this was not a problem for us. They came at the very end of the revised arrival time window to begin. I hadn't thought to ask how long it would take (again, my job is flexible) but it took longer than I had expected. They found more oil at the bottom than anticipated so that had to be removed and then they decided to cut the tank into pieces versus carrying it out in one piece. This had me a little concerned due to the perceived mess, but the only evidence of the open tank after they left were a few oily fingerprints on a door and the smell in the air that went away within 24 hours. They did forget to bring brooms and dust pans for the clean up so I let them use my outdoor set. Otherwise a job well done.
Additionally because a closet wall had been built around the tank their first step was to remove that wall. I explained our plans to rebuild the closet so the team (very friendly) made such careful cuts that there won't be any trouble to fit the trim around their cuts.

The team came in and were very helpful in getting out a (mostly) empty oil tank from my basement. Their price was reasonable and they were very easy to work with.

The price was a little steep. They were able to deliver the dumpster and pick it back up. They were very delayed in picking the dumpster up. I was able to get the dumspter quickly. The owner seems very nice.

The job went smoothly because Mr Kelly and his assistant were experienced, and they worked efficiently and well together. The job was performed in a professional manner. There were no oil spills or accidents. Although an estimate from another company included the cost of cutting the tank in order to remove it, Mr Kelly was able to remove the tank without cutting it into pieces. It was obvious that Mr Kelly was very experienced in doing this work. He did the job efficiently, made necessary patches, and left the area clean and neat. Both Mr Kelly and his assistant were respectful and polite. Mr. Kelly's fee for doing this work was lower than his competitors, and he was flexible in scheduling the work for a Saturday afternoon.
