+ -1 moreThey are great. I go to, maybe, four or five auctions yearly. I do not pay any buyers premium at Laughlin's. If I bid $100 I pay $100. That is one of the reasons I like them, I think they are more reputable. The quality of the auction service, per se is excellent. The quality of the merchandise varies, but it is up to the buyer to inspect and beware.
Description of Work: They have never auctioned any of my things; I have just been a customer. The last auction I went to was three or four months ago.

+ -1 moreThey are three brothers who run the business. I am a collector, and at their auctions I look for civil war artifacts, certain coins and those kinds of things. What kept me using them has been their honesty, and their professionalism. I trust them explicitly, and they are honest in their evaluations. Most of the things have to be bought as they are, but they go out of their way to make sure that people understand what they are buying. They don’t try to cover up anything, they would rather show the faults. They are auctioneers, so the price depends on whatever the market wants, and it also depends upon who is bidding against me, and whether he wants it as badly as I do.
Description of Work: I use Laughlin Auctions, Inc. for my auction services, and I have been using them for thirteen years. I don’t use them to auction my things, I go to their auctions to get things. I am more a customer of theirs in that sense rather than them auctioning any of my belongings.
