 + -1 moreOriginally planned to be a three day job, but due to discovery of the condition of the existing subfloor, the job ended up taking four days. The existing subfloor was causing squeaks when walked upon. We elected to install another sheet of plywood on top of the existing subfloor to reinforce the structure and secure it to the floor joists with screws and glue. This process added another day to the removal/installation as the original plan was to have half of the house prepared on day one, the second half on day two while the installation crew installed half of the floor on day two and finished on day three. The extra day was not a problem as we had started work on a Monday, so slippage a day was not a factor, additionally the extra day helped to ensure that an appropriate amount of time could be spent replacing the flooring on the stairs.
Description of Work: We hired Guevara Home Improvements to replace our flooring and in the process also had them reinforce the existing subflooring. So the job was to remove the existing flooring (2 1/4" oak flooring) attempting to keep it in reusable condition for potential re-use and install new 3" brazillian cherry flooring. As part of this job was also the removal of our existing gutters and replacement with new gutters, fascia boards, and sofit coverings. Work also included moving furniture around the rooms and house to complete the job and removal of all work related debris. Price includes the cost of materials for the gutters, but not for the flooring replacement as those items had been procured

 + -1 moreThe price was $1200 for labor and the rest was supplies. His work was very thorough. He worked with the supplies we had purchased because we had the door and tile. It was a thorough job.
