It was a fantastic experience working with Huff construction! Mr Huff was great to work with- excellent communication- always responded within 24hours and kept us informed, beautiful work, all his employees and subcontractors were friendly, professional and skilled. Mr Huff ideas were creative, he made excellent use of dead space within the house to create a better flow and use of space of an older smaller house. We are extremely pleased with the way the house came out.

Excellent job and a good rate.

Overall very good. Materials choices were good. The exterior materials that we chose were more complex than normal but he found out how to use them properly. Everyone that worked on the project did a good job and where there were some issues they fixed them. The only downside was the large Andersen sliding doors and that was on Andersen's side.

Quality of work was excellent. The crew members were professional, courteous and produced high quality results. Mr. Huff was very responsive and delivered a high quality job for a very reasonable cost. I recommend Huff Construction highly.

It went very well. Best contractor we have ever worked with. David is awesome and we would not hesitate to hire his company again. His employees are great, friendly, and just great workers. Never showed up

Exceptionally well. This was a big project and took almost a week, but right on schedule. We were very pleased and only 1 very small error that was quickly resolved.

It has been a pleasure working with David Huff and his crew the last 4 months. We would highly recommend him for any additions or remodeling work. The work he did for us had a high level of craftsmanship, was completed in a timely manner, and at a very reasonable price. You wouldn't even know an addition had been added to our house as all the work done matches our existing house so well. We received estimates from 3 different construction companies before deciding on Huff Construction. The other two companies estimates where higher and they couldn't start the work for 3 to 6 months. They also stated our project couldn't be completed in less than about 6 months. Huff Construction was able to start within a month of us signing the contract and was able to complete our project in about 4 months. Huff was easy to get in touch with and almost always answered his phone right away or got back to us in a hour or two. We tried to keep change requests to a minimum, but when we had one his response was always "We can do it" and/or "I just want you to be happy". He is now working on a project for my parents based on our recommendation and they have also been extremely pleased. If you're looking to add an addition or have remodeling work done give Huff a call, you'll be glad you did.

David is fantastic! I did my research and could not have found a better builder! The completed work is so high end and high quality from beginning to finish. David and his whole crew are so nice and explain everything and David didn’t mind my “add-ons “ always whatever you would like we will do. Great with suggestions which were better ideas than I could come up with! I expected it to be stressful but I was wrong! Such a wonderful experience I can’t wait to have them back for phase 2 - the whole house interior! Thank you David

we were very pleased it was quality materials quality work and a reasonable price... very friendly crews very neat they cleaned up their debris all along. David stays in touch with the home owner very well calls back very well and does a great job running his crews and his jobs. he is honest, dependable, fair and quality. you will not go wrong in hiring David Huff to build your house or add an addition. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We completed a large renovation project in a 1940s house with David / Huff Construction. We were very happy with the process - his knowledge, advice, speed of work, professionalism and friendly team - and the result is really beautiful. We removed two internal walls and part of an external wall, reworked entire areas of flooring as well as renovating a bathroom and adding a laundry room. The work was done to a very high standard and much quicker than we expected. Thanks David!

Mr. Huff and his crew made a difficult renovation as smooth and pain-free as possible. He was a great communicator, problem-solving with me along the way while renovating my 100-year old house. It was perfection mananged. We were under budget, on schedule the entire project. David (Huff) has wonderful communication , detailing what is happening at each step of the way. His teams were courteous, professional, and exceptionally skilled. They worked efficiently and with amazing professional results. When they completed the job, it was as though the house had always been designed this way, the remodel flowed wonderfully from room to room. From the outside, it appears there was never a garage. I can not recommend Huff Construction enough. I will always comeback to them for comprehensive services. He did EVERYTHING well. Not one complaint.

Called David based on reviews here on Angie's list. Disregarded the no-show reviews. He showed up, took some pictures, talked about the project, and I even gave him drawings from the architect. That was over 2 weeks ago. Haven't heard a peep. An "I need more time" or "I'm not interested" or "I can't do it" would have been nice.

If I had to describe David Huff in one word, I would say "Godsend". We looked for over a year for someone to do the job and when we finally read about David we called him immediately. Within the day he called back. From that day on he continued to communicate with us about everything. He would even call to let us know if one of the workers was running behind or even call at the end of the day to see if we were pleased with the work so far. He set everything up from an electirician, painting, flooring, and dry-wall. David's crew did a Great job and we absolutely Love the outcome! They had to get creative with a few tasks and I'm still amazed at how they got things to look like it was always meant to be. We actually started out by asking for one wall to be removed. Once the first wall was down, we realized how great it would be to have the 2nd one taken down. David's typical response was "No problem." They work fast and hard and even clean up when they are done!

We are very happy with the work completed by Huff Construction. We had a load bearing wall removed and our exterior patio doors moved, and the drywall, electrical, and finishing work needed to complete those jobs. From the initial inquiry, David Huff was quick to get back to me (unlike all of the other contractors I reached out to), and throughout the project stayed in constant communication. He was very easy to reach if needed and continuously checked in to make sure we were pleased with the work. We have other remodeling projects planned for the future and will definitely reach out to Huff Construction again.

David Huff and his crew did an excellent job. They did everything they said they would and more. When I called Mr Huff he always answered or returned my call or text. He always took the time to answer any of my questions and we got along well. His subs also are very hard workers and do an excellent job. I met a lot of people during this job and every one of them was personable and all went out of their way to explain and questions I had and always did an excellent job. When we did hit a small problem we always came to an agreement on how it was to be handled.

Excellent craftsmanship. Weather wasn't cooperative of course and ground water provided extra challenges but all were dealt with professionally. All the crews were courteous and focused on their work. Will definitely call again as the need arises.

I was absolutely pleased with the work that was done by Huff Construction, Inc. My husband and I had three projects we wanted to complete before the before summer; replacement vinyl window installation to include trim repair (old wooden windows left less than desirable presentation), wrapping doors, and replacement of several pieces of vinyl siding placed on the house (as a storm had decided to make our home a target using neighboring trees). All of the crews knew their jobs, worked quickly, and if we had ANY questions at all never hesitated to take the time to patiently answer and explain what we needed to know. Everything looks great! Mr. Huff was fantastic to work with. He regularly checked in with us throughout the project and asked that we contact him immediately if we had any problems or concerns. When I had questions for him I could call or text and he responded quickly. Based on this experience, we would hire Huff Construction again as the professionalism and exemplary customer service is unmatched. Thanks!

Huff performed beyond all expectations. The quality of the work has been the most impressive aspect of the results--for such a large job with so many details we were surprised how perfectly everything turned out. David Huff was extremely helpful throughout the process--offering suggestions when we were undecided about design issues, and giving advice when he thought we were moving in the wrong direction. When he observed work that was not to his satisfaction, he had his team redo it without any prompting from us. David's enthusiasm and energy level were amazing. Although it felt like the project would never end, people we have shown the final project to have been impressed that so much was done in just a few months. David and his team worked hard to keep things moving forward, which was a huge challenge given to scope of the job he did for us. I'm sure we drove him a little crazy as we made large and small changes to our original plans during the work, but he took it all in stride. David Huff and his team did excellent work, and I would definitely use him again. The "trades" he brought in (electrical, plumbing, flooring, media/sound) all delivered with similar quality, were professional and personable. We had very different results from the fireplace vendor and the cabinet/countertop people Huff brought in. Although the final result is satisfactory, both firms made errors through the process that delayed completion, were very poor at communicating with us and Huff about the status of the work, and did not seem interested in our satisfaction. I would suggest people find their own vendors for fireplace and cabinet work and ask Huff to work with them instead.

Huff Construction is awesome! David Huff understands that he is disrupting your life and does his best to mitigate the interruption. His contractors were courteous, clean and respectful. He said he would have the kitchen functional in 4 weeks and he beat that by 4 days! He sets a schedule and works with his contractors to meet his schedule. I don't think there was a time we were delayed because a contractor didn't show up. We believe he must treat his contractors well or they would not be as great as they were and on time. We would use Huff Construction again without hesitation.

Asked Mr. Huff to come take a look at the windows and siding work that needed to be done. He was rude and curt, did not provide any information, stayed for about 10 minutes and said he would “get me a quote” as he got back in his car and I haven’t heard from him since - never received that quote. The level of professionalism was lacking.
