Mike initially gave the quote over the phone, $1600.00 for removal, replacement, and install of the washer dryer. He also gave me guidance for removing the top of the water heater cover so I could turn off the water. Things started well with removal of the old water heater and discussions for the replacement heater. The work proceeded. He was to purchase and install the new water heater, rated for a shower and 3 sinks. The installed water heater is only rated for one shower although we were not told about the smaller size. Regarding the ventless washer dryer all in one, the water hookups were installed. Without consultation, an outside vent was also installed but not completely finished off. The plan was that he would pick up the washer dryer and complete the install next time he was in town. The team did clean up the trash. Mike was then paid by Zelle the $2275.00. I expected an itemized bill to be forwarded by e-mail and I have not seen it. After they left our daughter called from overseas to see the result. She noticed that the water heater looked smaller than expected and upon further inspection it is. My husband called Mike while he was driving home. Mike informed him that the size we needed wasn't available so they got what was available. There was never any discussion with us about the water heater downgrade. I haven't had a ventless dryer so I was not as shocked by the vent install but my daughter specifically chose and specified it so as not to need it installed. She has used that type of system for many years. We gave Mike specific make and model that she had selected. The outside spigot seems to be satisfactory. So at the moment, Mike has been paid including the unneeded and incomplete vent install, and washer/dryer pickup and install. I have made many attempts to contact Mike and left multiple messages. Only once did he pick up at which point I texted a photo of the label on the water heater to him. He said he would call back once he was home. I haven't heard back and my calls have not been answered.

I emailed Angi to see if someone could repair the damage of my bathroom floor and shower wall. Mr. Mike Morris contacted me on Labor Day Sept 4.2023 by phone. I told him what needed to be done. He quoted me a price of 1,500.00 with out seeing the job. I understood other things may come up to where it may be more since he had not seen the damage. He came with a helper on Sept 5, 2023 Mr. Morris seemed very rushed to begin with. He and the helper did start working on the bathroom removing the flooring , shower wall tile. The toilet and sink was already removed before they came. They spent hours there, left about 5-6pm. They removed the tub which was put in the front yard along with a lot of materials that needed to be disposed of. Next day Sept 6, 2023 he and a relative came this time and the relative put the shower nozzle on back wards, meaning the hot label was cold water and vise versa .also, the toilet was not completely placed level, sink was not bolted to wall, so it rocks and moves, and was leaking water. the doping of the walls was a mess, the closet bathroom flooring was not in correctly, molding was not nailed in, the floor was not flattened to meet the hallway flooring so there is a slight step down, the air/heat vent was messed up because the flooring was not corrected. He did have someone come on Friday sept 10,2023 to pick up the tub but left everything else and what was under the house, where all the other old flooring and ect. I messaged Mr. Morris Sept 11,2023 at 11:50am letting him know the issues left, he said he would come by that afternoon but, never showed. Messaged Mr. Morris again Sept. 12,2023 12:45pm asking if he forgot about me. He stated he told one of his guys to come by that afternoon. He did not show. I messaged Mr. Morris again Sept 15, 2023 at 10:27am stating I really thought he forgot about me, notified him again of what needed to be done. No response.

They kept in touch with me. When they arrived, after a very long day, they open the windows that needed to be opened, and we agreed on a time in the future for them to come and finish the job.

Took my deposit for a roof replacement and disappeared. Ignored/avoided calls and texts for weeks after taking the deposit and extremely hard to get in touch with. Tried tirelessly for a month to get my deposit back then he wrote me a bad check that bounced. To this day, have yet to receive my deposit back to the method of payment in which we used. Do not trust this company, there are other reviews just like mine on Yelp and we will be reporting his company to the licensing board as well as filing legal charges for check fraud. 1 month is long enough to get someones deposit back after not starting and/or completing a job. Extremely unprofessional and a time waster.

Mike communicated well throughout the entire process of scheduling and getting estimates for some handyman work on some windows and repairs to our front patio. They arrived on time exactly as promised and worked efficiently and with care getting everything done quickly and at the price promised. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and they all did a great job. I would absolutely hire them again and could not recommend them enough.

The removal went very well and they cleaned up well. However, regarding the tankless water heater the wrong size was installed without discussion. The A. O. SMITH 2.4 GPM 28 KW was expected. It is rated as sufficient for one shower and four sinks, cost $629. What was installed was A. O. SMITH 1.6 GPM 14 KW sufficient for one shower, cost 359. When questioned after departure Mike said the other was not available. He never informed us that he had switched size. He just kept repeating that it would be sufficient. It may be a small house but many people will be there frequently. The bid was $1200 and that is what we were charged. Regarding the VENTLESS washer dryer hookups and install, he installed the hook ups and drain pipe. In addition, he installed a vent. The vent required an additional, unnecessary hole in the floor. He was given the specific model to be ordered so he could research the install. The original bid was $250 for the work and $150 to pickup and install. He advised that the work would actually cost $1000 with no explanation of the $600 increase. So now we spent $600 more than expected and have a hole in the floor that will need repair. We will not him return to the property so we also paid $150 for pickup and install that he won’t be doing. Regarding the $45 bid to replace an outside spigot, he charged $75. The homeowner feels the contractor should return $1200 for the equipment downgrade and damage.

Had no problem with the work done

Not a good experience. They left construction waste in my backyard. They kept telling me someone would get it. The owner even said he'd come get it. Nobody ever showed up, I texted a few times with no response at all! I paid 8 thousand dollars, and my texts are being ignored! I literally have to call someone else and pay additional money to have the construction waste removed from my property. There is so much more I can say, but I'll leave it at this. Their communication is practically nonexistent. I should have stopped services the first time they made a commitment and broke it.

Excellent! Morris Maintenance did an outstanding job in finding out what was causing the problem and suggesting a good and practical fix. I have been looking for a solution for awhile, and Mike Morris was able to take care of it quickly. I cannot recommend him or the business highly enough.

Michael does excellent work. Always makes sure it is to the customer’s satisfaction before he leaves. He can fix almost anything. I saved his information in case I ever need work done again.
