EFFICIENT CONSTRUCTION CO

Paul Goodman Jr. and his company Efficient Construction/Waterproofing was paid $1800.00 to waterproof our basement/foundation walls. During the time the work was performed my wife and I were told that our basement would be dry, and that the work came with a non-transferable lifetime warranty. Less than two years after the waterproofing was done we have damp/wet basement walls, and Paul Goodman Jr. has stated multiple reasons why it isn't his or his companies fault. These reasons have included: he has never been to my house, the water table in this area is too high, he didn't do the work (which we have a hand written receipt from him that includes his signature), he isn't God, and that the walls are waterproofed and the water is going beneath the walls and going up the walls. Efficient Waterproofing has denied any responsibility despite having their guarantee printed on the business cards they hand out. Since meeting with Paul Goodman Jr. he has sent me a letter that reads: "You stupid b****** I didn't work for you. I showed your dumm a** the basement was not leak with the hose you f****** idiot." "Kiss my a**, Paul Goodman Jr." Along with this complaint I have also filed complaints with the BBB, and will be filing a complaint with the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation of Virginia.
