They promptly provided an estimate and schedule for performing the work. We accepted their proposal and they did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and at the quoted price. A first rate company which we will use again.

They came right away, were respectful of our home taking off their shoes when they came in and out, worked quickly and gave me great pointers.  I have used them twice now and they are our go-to electrical company.

They repaired my HVAC unit. Awesome service, great price, Paul was very polite and explained everything perfectly. Unit is running great! Will use them again and have already referred them to several people.

Finished off full second floor of home, approx 700 sqft, to include 2 bedrooms, full bath, and large living area w/hallway. Scope of Wortman's work included install of separate HVAC unit and ductwork, upgrade of electric to accomodate additional load, and all necessary plumbing for bath.
Work was begun in July, more in August, finished all HVAC yesterday. Remaining is install of bath fixtures which will be done after paint and flooring have been completed w/n next 2 weeks.
All work done in very professional, competent manner; employees and subs arrived as scheduled and worked diligently until finished for the day. One Wortman's employee, and quot;P.J.and quot; deserves special mention for installing the HVAC ductwork throughout the upper attic area in an over 100 degree environment -- he worked tirelessly from 8:30 - 4 in this heat each day until the ductwork was finished. Kudos to him for his perserverance and youthful energy. We also want to thank Wortman Admin Assistant, and quot;Victoriaand quot; for her excellent communication skills, diligence in scheduling work, getting answers to questions, and in general following up on any issues that arose.
We would highly recommend Wortman's to anyone in need of HVAC or related work. Brian Wortman impresses us not only with his work knowledge, experience, and excellent customer service skills, but also with his personable manner and sincere interest in the success of your project.

Communications were a little slow with getting the quotes. We wanted to know what our options were so we had a lot of questions and wanted quotes for several different systems.
Once the decision was made they scheduled us for the next week and everything went very well. They even swept up after themselves.
We got a high efficiency model and we are saving a lot on our electric bills.

We bought an old house and got a gift membership to Angie's List. Wortman Mechanical was the only people on, so we knew atleast they should be licensed and insured. Our driveway was pretty dark and creepy and our porch light was dead. We called and asked if we could get some quotes. Just quotes (first time home buyers, and pretty nervous and overwhelmed). They were pretty punctual, kind, and down to Earth. Brian himself did most of the quoting and estimating. Brian came out and we said we just wanted some lights on our driveway, we had already bought the lights we wanted and he said he could put them in right then and there and he did. Called his electric guy out, and up he went. His electric guy was very nice and professional, didn't seem to short
cut anything even with the space restrictions of our attic. We brought Brian inside to show what we thought our next project should be. Our shower tile floor was cracked and the grout was in pieces. Come to find out the shower was leaking or had leaked (they showed us the water damage spots which we would NOT have noticed). He gave us a quote maybe a day later and a suggestion on how to fix our shower. And shortly after we got the funds, out they came and they ripped up only the bottom TO SAVE US MONEY. Each evening when we came home if the guys were still there, they'd explain their progress. The tile guy had some really great ideas with choosing a tile and a border to blend together the top half with the bottom half, it looks amazing and you really can't tell the tiles don't match.We have a lot of projects coming up and we're always saying and quot;We'll call Wortman for that.and quot; Never felt stupid while talking to them about home repair and they all seemed willing to make suggestions, not up-selling suggestions, but practical. They were inexpensive and quick.

I was impressed by the professional crew. The as each problem was discovered I was promptly informed of the options along with an estimate. Wortman Mechanical ensured that my AC was working within the time promised. Additionaly they ensured that there were no other problems with the Heating and AC before marking the job complete. Very polite and professional.

It began with a call to Wortman Mechanical and spoke with his office manager, Karen. She was very polite, courteous and promptly returned my calls when I had questions. Mr Wortman came and performed the work efficienbtly and promptly and i highly recommend him. Please see detailed comments above.

They were good. They were timely and efficient. They provided a very reasonable rate for the service they completed. The quality of workmanship is excellent. I needed them that day and they made it that day. I think it was the owner of the company that showed up, and he was great. He walked me and showed me what was wrong.

The technician was courteous and explained what he planned to and covered everything after doing the work. It was all done very efficiently.

He is very straight forward and honest. He uses other contractors and one of them were not very nice and he made them apologize.

The man only took an hour to perform the task and the charge was very reasonable considering he had to work on hands and knees in a crawl space.

The service was friendly and professional. They even loaned us two window units while we were waiting for our system to come in.

Our air conditioner went out Friday afternoon. We waited until Monday morning to call for a service call. The repairman came out after lunch and checked out our system. The Compressor had locked up. He went over our options with us. Because the inside unit was over 20 years old we decided to replace the entire system. He called the office to verify the unit we wanted qualified for the tax credit and rebate. He explained that they were extremely busy and would not be able to install the system until Thursday but did offer to send someone by to install two window units (at no charge) until Thursday. They were delivered and installed within 2 hours. They showed up on time Thursday morning. Because we were new to the area I had looked them up on Angieslist.com and could not have been happier. Everyone we were in contact with from the first visit to the office staff were very friendly. We also purchased an extended labor contract. There was no pressure but we have had problems with our HVAC unit in another house and thought for the price it was a good value.

The AC for my upstairs unit stopped blowing cold air and the pipes outside were continually freezing over. I'd turn it off for an hour or two and then turn it back on again after the pipes thawed in hopes that cool air would begin blowing. No luck and this was over the 4th of July holiday weekend! After calling around to several shops I then waited until Monday, the day after the holiday, and was finally able to get folks on the line. Most of them said they would get back to me, but never did, and some right away said that they would have to charge "holiday pricing". But when I called Wortman Mechanical, they were pleasant and provided a timeline (within 2 hours) that they would have someone come out (and no mention of holiday pricing). The technician (Brian - part owner), was there within the promised timeframe and completed the work in a very professional manner, explaining everything as he went through it. We changed a couple of questionable filters, he added refrigerant, not only to the problem unit but to both upstairs and downstairs units, and then ran through the house doing a temperature check to ensure everything was working properly. Excellent, efficient work. Will definitely use this company again and would be happy to recommend them to anyone!
