This work to be done was not planned. Actually I was at home working while my son was home with me. Someone knocked on the door and said that they were in the neighborhood doing an estimate for another resident and asked if I'd like to have an estimate for any tree service as well. I originally said no and was handed a card for future service. I thought about a tree that I had actually wanted to have removed but the cost was always so high to have done. I opened the door and caught him before he left and asked about the tree. He took a look at it and explained the type of tree it was and that my concerns about the tree leaning towards my house were legitimate. He gave me an estimate for the tree to be cut down as well as including triming of branches hanging over my house. Their were two quotes one with removing of the tree and the other with leaving the tree cut up in the woods beside my house. After talking for a bit about the work to be done he looked up and saw a dead pine (about 50 feet tall and a good size one at that) that he said he would include in the price. I accepted the work and was well worth the price and peace of mind of having a tree fall down and hit my house.He said that he would collect payment only after the work had been completed.They workers were constantly working, everyone had a duty to performed. They were in and out in less than 2 hours!! They cleaned up after the job and I handed them a check.I got another estimate for a tree that I had gotten an estimate on in the past from a different company. They were right about at the same price. I told him that they were in the same ball park as far as price and he said that he would drop it $300 to earn my business and that the price he quoted would be the same when I was ready to have the work done. When I have the money saved I will DEFINITELY be calling them back.
