The owner and his assistant arrived 40 minutes late, even though they live in the same neighborhood. The owner, Jamie Tanner, told me that he had not been paid $400 in 2011 by our builder, Westco Construction. He said he could not give me a warranty without our paying this amount. If he had mentioned this on the phone prior to coming to the house, I could have avoided taking a day off work. I told Jamie that I had already paid the builder, and that the builder owed him the money--not me. We argued for over half an hour, and he finally agreed to give me a warranty. I agreed to contact the builder, which I did. The builder said the amount was $350 and that he had not known about it.Jamie said he had asked the builder several times for the amount.
While we were talking, Jamie's assistant did the inspection, so I ended up not seeing exactly what he did. However, it appears that he
provided no treatment except for putting down rat traps. Also, it appears that he did not do a thorough inspection of the shop, as I had specificallyrequested. While I talked to him about our concerns that the cats not be exposed to poison, Tanner installed bait traps that did not provide adequate protection for the cats. We consulted our vet, who said to throw out the traps provided by Tanner and use a different kind.
Tanners would not provide a warranty for powder post beetles or wood borers, even though those items were listed on their form. Moreover, they gave us a rate of $420, while Angie's list shows that they charge another customer $30/mon or $360 for what is probably a much larger property with a barn. When I asked why, Jamie Tanner said that he did notI owe us any explanations. I had also mentioned that my husband worked for DOD, but Mr. Tanner did not mention the DOD discounted rate. When I went to Angie's List to write a review, I saw that there was a discount. We paid Tanner $150 for an initial service that seems to have been nothing mroe than putting down rat bait boxes that we had to discard. We paid $90 for an exterior service, but there was no service. The total for the day was $240 and for the year $420.

They have been servicing my home for about four years. They are very trustworthy. If I have any issues with pests in my home I just call and they are very responsive. They are extremely courteous and thorough. When I first called them they gave me wonderful information. They are very attentive to my needs. They always let me know when they come out.
