This small company provided excellent service. The owner visited in advance to meet pets and discuss services. She minded the cats, cleaned litter boxes, and provided some TLC for cats over a 5-day period, In addition, she checked the house for security features (locks, lights, thermostat, doors, etc.). She requested and received very detailed instructions during her initial visit, so we were assured that she knew what she should be doing and looking for. She kept a detailed daily log of her visits, what happened with the pets, and what she did during the visit. She plans ahead for emergency situations--possible vet visits, our possible delayed return, contact info along our itinerary, even people noticing the pet-sitting signage on her vehicle. Her charge was reasonable for the services she provided. We felt secure in leaving our house and pets under her care, and will definitely use her services again. Oh, and the normally stranger-shy kitties loved her too.

Mrs. McDonald provides an exemplary pet sitting service. She genuinely cares for your pets as if they were her own, believe me, being one of her pets must be a heavenly experience. She plays with, treats and tidies after your pets and leaves a daily log so you can keep up with the happenings while you were away. What a pleasant experience to return, tired from your trip to find the porch light on, a note of welcome and a breathtakingly tidy house, as well as happy critters.
Our last trip required that we give Mrs. McDonald very short notice as my mom had passed away. Not only did Mrs. McDonald provide her usual out of this world pet service, but she also left a delicious meal, flowers and a note of sympathy. What special service. Leaving our special needs pets (seizure disorder, geriatric etc.) is so stressful, or it used to be; Mrs. McDonald provides an enigmatic combination of compassion and professionalism.
